Excellent series, if you like breaking bad, you’ll love this.
I’ve watched better call Saul at least four or five times and I love it more every time because you catch more things every time you rewatch it. It was so well developed so well-made. The actors are amazing and I wish it went on for more seasons the ending was a huge surprise!

Saul shows the real man he is at last.
Many people who began watching Better Call Saul kept complaining that they wanted to see the Saul they knew from Breaking Bad emerge sooner from his initial identity as ex-con-man (?), screw-up and reformed lawyer, Jimmy McGill. But I found the journey from Jimmy to Saul fascinating, including the effect he had on so many people around him, from Howard Hamlin of HHM, to Mike, the grumpy guy we came to love in BB, to Ernie, the mail room buddy, to the pretentious Clifford Main and his crew and especially brother Chuck and fellow lawyer and eventual lover, Kim Wexler.Much to Jimmy's increasing irritation, he is constantly being told by various people how to live his life and even when he tries to follow their advice, it "blows up" in his face. In this season, he increasingly stands his ground, such as quitting the "cushy" job at Davis and Main and striking out on his own as well as doing a stint with Kim as separate lawyers who share a building. Though still fond of a good con (as is Kim, we learn), Jimmy begins to see that they have a different use for him and that his "colorful" style of practicing law can actually work quite well. He also runs afoul of Chuck in a major, shattering way and after a huge blow-out with Kim, ends up making a life-long commitment that surprises everyone. This is also the season in which Jimmy declares with confidence who he really is.

5/5 FROM A FUTURE LAWYER
In order to properly review this masterpiece I have to give you a little background about myself. Years ago I was deeply impressed with Breaking Bad. However, I was always captivated and intrigued by Saul Goodman. He was so clever, witty, sharp...I could go on. But what was his backstory? Who WAS he? After I dried my tears when Breaking Bad ended, I looked out the window and realized I still knew little about the man who played a pivotal legal ingredient in the tumultuous meth business. When our dear boy Vince released the first season of Better Call Saul, my life appeared before me. I ran (I was a D3 athlete) to the closest bookstore to obtain all the available LSAT prep materials I could get my hands on. After relentlessly studying for months on end (only stopping occasionally to win a few hands of poker at my local casino) I earned a LSAT score in the 99th percentile. Now, in just a short months I'll be heading to an ivy league university to acquire my own JD. It may not be The University of American Samoa, but let me tell you...it'll do. While I hope not to find myself roped within the business of the cartel, I can only hope that I will possess the passion and wit of Saul Goodman. He turns the drudgery of legal work into an art. Needless to say, season 5 of Better Call Saul does not disappoint. Purchasing this discography was well worth every penny...even if it makes Bezos richer...xoxoGeremiaSPOILER ALERT:Jimmy dies!

Best show of all time! if you loved breaking bad, this is the prequel and in my opinion 100x better
Best show ever. 100/10Bob Odenkirk is the best actor/writer and your ill not regret watching Better Call Saul. It is the PREQUEL to breaking bad. If you’re a breaking bad fan, Better Call Saul is the show for you. In my book, I know Breaking Bad is way up there in best shows of all time but for me, Better Call Saul is above Breakingbad because of how much more you learn about the characters, Mike is my favorite actor Jonathan Banks, he’s the best part of the show and you get to see so much more about Mike’s character in Better Call Saul than Breaking Bad which is probably one of the reasons I love it so much more. The sequel after better call Saul and breaking bad is el Camino which is Aaron paul(Jesse) after him and Walt split up. It is a movie and doesn’t even come close to Better call Saul. Still love Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston as actors! If you’re looking for something with Bryan Cranston(Walt) go for “your honor” great series 1 season but perfectly written and executed!

Espetacular!

"Do You Want To Be A Friend Of The Cartel ?"
Over the period of the previous four series of Better Call Saul we have seen the character of Jimmy McGill's behaviour as a lawyer move from questionable to unethical and now having regained his licence to practice law under the name of Saul Goodman he begins the journey to downright illegal activities by getting involved with the Salamanca Cartel.in addition to his slightly dubious methods to attract new clients with his "50% Off" schemes he comes into contact with Lalo Salamanca and is induced into representing him on a murder charge and in particular with arranging bail which involves a car trip to Mexico and which proves to be more tortuous and a risk to his life than ever envisaged. On the personal side his long-standing relationship with Kim Wexler deepens whilst she juggles work responsibilities for the Mesa Verde Bank with her commitment to doing pro bono work. In the meantime Mike Ehrmantraut is having his own problems following the events depicted in Season 4 concerning the construction of Gus Fring's super meth lab.During the course of Season 5 we meet DEA Agent Hank Shrader (Walter White's brother-in-law from Breaking Bad) and also Lalo's cousins Leonel and Mario Salamanca the taciturn and ruthless enforcers for the cartel with their distinctive winkle-picker hand tooled Mexican boots (a delight in themselves) as well as other cartel members familiar from earlier episodes. I will refrain from mentioning any specific plot developments for obvious reasons apart from saying that Kim reveals unsuspected nerves of steel when confronted by Lalo who is interrogating Jimmy about the events surrounding his collecting the bail money. It is a sign of supreme confidence in the production of this show that an entire episode can be founded on the basis of the dropping by Jimmy of an ice cream cone on the sidewalk which slowly disappears over a period of time whilst it is consumed by an increasing number of red ants ! Also the now well -established routine of opening the Series with a black and white mini-drama featuring Jimmy in his post Breaking Bad persona of Gene Takavic this time around runs for over 10mins and concerns his cover being blown leading to a cliff-hanger ending of it's own as he decides to deal with the threat himself rather than rely on those who provided his new identity in the first place. The subtle delights of Better Call Saul continue to provide rich entertainment for the viewer and there isn't a single wasted moment in the ten episodes comprising Series 5. I must confess to a degree of envy for any newcomers to this show for the riches they are about to enjoy - there are very few programmes about just now of this calibre and dare one say it - does Better Call Saul in fact outstrip it's source material Breaking Bad ? I'm sure a case can easily be made that it does.Audio : English / German / Italian and SpanishSubtitles : English (Hard of Hearing) / German / Italian and SpanishExtras : Cast and Crew commentaries on all episodes / Gag Reel / Commercials and Training Videos / Crystal Balls.Extras exclusive to the Blu Ray Edition : Deleted Scenes / Tell Me Again / The Good The Bags and The Ugly / "Bagman" - The Ambush / "Bagman" - The Cannon Roll / The Effects For This !
