Put An End To Roaming Charges
Bought these pads to stop my washing machine from walking around the basement floor. Works PERFECTLY! Every time we do laundry the machine is exactly where we left it when the cycle completes. No more roaming!Installation is straightforward, though not necessarily simple. You simply place the pads under the feet of your washing machine. Lifting the machine to do that is a whole other story. Please note, very important, that these will NOT stop your washing machine from shaking. In some cases, it might actually get worse at low speed cycles. What these do is absorb the shock and sway, so the machine doesn't "walk" during these cycles.Highly recommended, though I expect them to lose effectiveness over time as they compress under the weight of the washer. I'll probably buy a set once a year as a preventative measure.

No more walking washer!
This is the second set of these that I have purchased. I have to tell you, they don’t just work for a washing machine they also work underneath your couch legs to keep them from sliding. I love them. Where have they been all my life? Highly recommend

For the price an incredible value for an annoyance the plagues so many of us!
We have our Maytag Neptune front load washer/dryer on the second floor of our home. This means they sit on a plywood/joist floor base. This also means there is some give when compared to resting on a ground floor concrete slab. With that said, almost everyone I know has experience of vibration noise with their washer/dryers when on the second floor as well. Our washer would tend to walk quite a bit when washing jeans or towels. Sometimes moving as much as 6 inches! Recommendation - make sure your appliances are leveled! You came here to read about these pads not where my appliances are right? These pads felt sturdy in my hand but when you flip them over, the underside is semi hollow. There are criss-cross rubber channels the serve the provide support to the upper cup and keep the sides from crushing. There appears to be other pads that are fully solid in construction but these being hollow didn't appear to crush much under the weight of the washer. Being hollow may actually aid in the vibration reduction as it allows some flexing whereas a solid one will may just transfer the shakes to the floor. I guess that also depends on what is made of.The round washer/dryer foot fit perfectly inside the cup and only raised the height about half an inch. It did a good job of reducing the felt vibration during the washer use. Whereas prior to installing these pads, the whole house would sing in concert with the spin cycle, worse when it full of jeans or towels. The washer still did tend to walk when I washed a comforter and sheets as a test. I will be looking for a different washer solution.PROS: cost, this is one of the least expensive anti-vibration pads available here on Amazon. Fitment was spot on and did not raise the appliance too much. Did reduce the vibration, if I had to put a number on it, I would estimate it to be 75% reduction in perceived vibration. We should have looked into these years ago!CONS: the rubber did compress a bit after installation. Understandable as it is hollow underneath but my concerns is over time the rubber will take a set and become less flexible thus negating its ability to absorb vibrations. Because the bottom has cut outs, there is less surface to floor contact area, this is why my washer still walked around on the spin cycle.OVERALL: I would recommend these pads especially if your goal is to reduce vibration and washer walking isn't the main problem. If trying to solve washer walking I would keep looking for other answers.

Just what I needed
Just what I needed I have tried everything to keep my washing machine in place every time I did a load of laundry it continue to move across the floor we adjusted the legs tried other products that said it would take the vibration out and none of them worked I purchased this and I saw the entire problem if you have a washing machine or dryer that is running across the floor I would definitely recommend using I have heavy loads that I use in my front lawn with a lot of heavy jeans and this works perfectly the washing machine has not moved at all since this has been installed

Saved our washing machine from death!
I can’t say enough good things about these little cushions! Our Samsung front loading washing machine used to sit on a pedestal and worked fine for a while however I started noticing the spin cycle was slowly getting louder and louder until finally one day I heard a nasty thumping then finally a banging sound during the spin cycle. The washer had moved so much that it started hitting our cabinets and it even bent one of the screw in adjuster feet at the bottom of the pedestal. I called a repair guy and he said it was done with and I should buy a new washing machine. I was sad because all though I bought it second hand I hadn’t owned it that long. I didn’t feel right about getting rid of my washing machine at that point either. I decided to take the pedestal off to lower the washers center of gravity and use these as a sort of raiser so the washer wouldn’t be too low to the ground. I tightened all the washer legs and slightly adjusted them to where the machine was level. Then I simple placed these under the washer feet. It took maybe 10 cycles but each cycle got lower and lower with the vibrations. Now I can barely hear any knocking or thumping even when washing large blankets and the machine actually cleans our clothes better. I don’t use the pedestal anymore but that’s alright. These are worth every penny! Most of my family ordered some for themselves because they seen how effective they are. Highly recommend! Great product that will save you from major repairs!

Good product, but not solid material, only use for lighter machines
These do reduce the vibration transmitted to the floor, but they are too soft. My new washer is a 220 lb front-loader and these pads let it wobble a lot because they're so soft. The washer doesn't walk at all, but it should not wobble this much either. Firmer pads are needed for today's heavier machines. The same material in a solid shape would probably be ok. These pads are NOT solid underneath. I wish the ad had a picture of the bottom - I thought they were solid. They would work better for things under 100 lbs.
