The Cat Who Went Underground (Cat Who... Book 9)

Simply fun reading!
Several years ago, a friend gave to me several of "The Cat Who..." books, which I thoroughly enjoyed. While looking over the list on Amazon, I accidentally purchased "...Went Underground" so put other reading aside to read this one. I still enjoy this author's work, her characters, plots and vivid descriptions of events and locales. I intend to eventually read all twenty-nine, and sadly, there will be no more.

Cat Sence
I loved this book! I am convinced that cats have a lot more going on in their minds than one would think. Of course since I just finished this book I’m still under its spell! A book that can do that to me has to be special! Lol! If you love cats and a good story, you will love this book and all the others in the series!

Wonderful series
I was introduced to this series by a friend who knew I would immediately fall for the main characters of The Cat Who.... series. They are classic mysteries - no graphic violence detailed out, no foul language in every sentence. Just your basic good old fashioned mystery with a pair of delightful Siamese cats and their journalist human. They never fail to uncover a good whodunit and solve it. While the reader will have no problem understanding the relationship of all the characters (this is a continuing series) I would like to recommend you read all of the series - you will see why this series is addictive - especially cat lovers.

A delightful book !
What a great story! So well written, fully filled out, with interesting characters and mystery to spare. I could 'see' each event as though I had experienced it myself. I am so glad this writer and this series was recommended to me by a friend, and I will continue to read this series.

Qwill Summers at the Lake
Qwill decides to spend the summer at the lake since Polly is in England. After moving into the "K" estate cabin, he decides it is too small. He plans an addition but much to his dismay, many carpenters are unavailable because they are dead. Yes, carpenters are dropping like flies by accidents and natural causes. Qwill finds a really good one and then he disappears! The plot thickens. Mildred, Qwill's friend and Moose County Home Economics teacher, calls on a psychic friend to help. Koko and Yum Yum help with the investigation. More excitement and death happens before Koko figures it all out.I loved this book! You will too!

Nice way to pass the time
I've read most of these books and enjoy following the lives of the people in Pickax and the antics of the cats. This is the 9th book, but somehow I missed it at first go around, but it was a pleasure to read anyway.

A surprisingly addictive series.
The mystery is merely a hook on which to hang the continuing saga of Jim Qwilleran and his wonderful cats. Having said that, the main interest in is the wonderful characters who appear from book to book and their developing relationships. While the mysteries are not going to keep you lying awake, cudgelling your brains to untangle the clues, the books are an easy read with no sex, violence or swearing. Perfect relaxing reading.

Brilliant series. Read whole rues many many years ago ...
Brilliant series. Read whole rues many many years ago and has always stayed with me. Excellent easy writing, cleaver plots and story lines and wonderful insight no feline behaviour. Would highly recommend to all cat lovers as well as anyone wanting easy mystery reads without all the swearing, sleeve and dirty sex scenes of more commercial authors. Love the whole series.

this is continues the tradition and is a good read.
Book nine of this charming series of books by Lilian Jackson Braun, continuing the story of a journalist who is the owner of two Siamese cats, who just seem to be able to push the reporter in the right direction in solving mysteries, this is continues the tradition and is a good read.

I love these books
I love these books. Fairly short and they bowl along nicely. They finish with answers too and leave you ready for the next book, and ther's plenty more to read.
