Oumers Bicycle Crank Extractor Puller, Bike Crank Removal Tool Fit for Square Threaded Taper Crankset

Successfully remove my Cannondale FSA crankset by taking a self made extender against the crank extractor. Then just few turns of puller counter clockwise job is done.

Had to improvise and use my own tool the wrench doesn't fit but the extractor it self work like a charm.

I bought this tool as I needed to remove one of the cranks on my bike to fit the rotor of a pedal-assist cadence sensor. I first greased both threads of this tool and was careful not to cross the thread of the part that screws into the crank. I couldn't get the crank to move using hand pressure only on the spanner provided and ended up using moderate force via a half-pound hammer, which got the crank moving in seconds. The plastic sleeve on the spanner prevented any damage to the tool.I note that one reviewer claims the supplied spanner doesn't fit the extractor. It does, but the ends are different sizes. The open-ended side is meant to fit on the pedals to fit or remove those. It is the 'ring' end that fits the hexagons of the extractor. You thus have to fit the spanner before inserting the inner part of the extractor to use the supplied spanner for crank extraction.

Uninstalled/installed crank easily! Great product!

Nothing bad to say about this product does exactly what it says on the tinVery easy for me to convert my XC MTB from a 3x to a 1x it literally took me no more than 30mins to remove both the crankset remove 3x and reinstall the 1x and replace handy little tool great addition to my tool box

Worked well, got the cranks off easily with no damage. Only 4 stars because the supplied spanner doesn't seem to fit the tool! Still it fits the pedals so still useful, just use an adjustable wrench instead!
