Great kit almost a good as dragon kits.the price s great. I did change to master club tracks

Awesome kit for the price. Some minor issues but a good modeler can fix it! A+ kit starting to compete with Dragon at a much better price! Highly recommended!

First, this is a complicated model. Don't buy it until you have a few Dragons or Mengs under your belt. Second, this thing is gorgeous, on par with the rest of Rye Field's catalog. Third, in no way does the deserve the low ratings. Just because you didn't do your research doesn't give you the right to bad mouth this brand and frankly, if you're truly a professional model builder, you would know what this brand entails.

Aside from some buyers giving low ratings on this kit I must contradict them as this kit is mostly for experienced modelers. I have an unbuilt version of the kit and I was blown away by the detail of it. Most of the complains relate to the intricate individual track links which require lots of patience to assemble. Advise if you plan to buy the kit I recommend you to watch Sergio Solo's You Tube videos of this exact kit and most likely you will buy if you are willing to take the challenge. You will not be disappointed with Rye Field. Thanks for looking.

The instructions are absolutely horrid. There are long lines for each part, with attaching like 100 parts in one step. No close up diagrams of where attached parts should be.Way way way too many parts. Unless your are a experienced tank builder, you will have problems with this kit.

I bought this for my 90 yr old father who loves building models. He complained that the treads were too difficult. His hands shake a little and his eyesight is good but not great. However he' s built a lot of models of high skill level before and never complained. I said I'd do the treads for him. I'm a professional model builder- I do it for a living.It's beautiful model but, my lord, the tracks are INSANELY difficult to assemble. Each tread is five pieces, there are 92 treads per side making for 920 pieces just to build the treads. Each pin that holds the treads together is .1" long and .02" in diameter. There are 368 of them, if you drop one, forget it, it's gone. I love accurate and detailed models but this is sadistic.

The manufacturer has done a bad research that the whole model have at least 10 wrong details. This kit is for the people who don't know much about Tiger 1. I think modelers who try to buy this kit should do a full research before they pay. It's not worth it.
