I love Frontier Co-op's organic herbs and spices. This cumin was properly ground and packaged, smelled amazing when I opened the bag. I have large spice jars that hold approximately 8 oz each, and I didn't think about that before I ordered. I filled the cumin jar and still had enough to fill another. Luckily had one that also was just emptied so they can be stored in glass instead of in the plastic package. The color, smell, and flavor were excellent. I could certainly tell a positive difference in the freshness compared to the little bit I had left. Very pleased.

Cumin lamb recipe- cut cubes or slices of lamb, Cover in salt, paprika, garlic, and thyme. Air fryer over parchment paper for 12 minutes at 365 degrees Drain, flip, and air fry for 12 more minutes at 360 degrees The only negative is that it's hard to transfer this into a spice dispenser bottle. I just keep it in the bag and remove with a spoon.

Superb freshness. Taste is strong and permeating in chili. Aroma is wonderful while blending in the fats and a good size and weight for the money.
