Was very easy to stick on dashboard just make sure the dashboard is clean

This is my 4th time buying this magnetic mount, over many years. It's very sunny in Singapore and suction cup mounts would fall off eventually. Scosche's strong magnets and their grippy surfaces keeps the phones in place very well. However as most dash boards are a little curved and has some rough texture, the provided tape doesn't stick very well. I'd alway replace the tape with my own 3M dash mount foam tape.

I've had this in my truck (08' F350 King Ranch 4x4) for a few months now and there are a few things about it that I like vs. the Nato magnetic mount that's in my wifes car. The footprint that actually sticks to the dash is not too large, I was able to find a spot for it on the center stack of my F350 that was within reach and visible. This is on-par with the Nato mount- they are almost identical in footprint. The one thing I was skeptical about when I first got it was the size of both the magnet and the magnetic surface that attaches to my phone case- but it's a non-issue, it grabs my phone and hasn't fallen off once. I'm not doing hard off-roading my truck but it's stuck on there well enough that I've stopped thinking about it. My wifes Nato mount again seems solid as well which brings us to the last thing. Both mounts are "ball mounts"- there's a ball on the phone side of the mount that swivels in a cup with a ring that you tighten when you've found the position you like. The Scosche mount can be tightened finger tight and the mount stays exactly where you put it, the Nato mount, even with extra torque on the ring will move after a while and begin to sag/ wiggle. So as far as stability while driving goes the Scosche mount is good- I was up north a week ago on dirt roads and it did well- it flexes a bit when it gets bumpy but a lot less than you'd expect. My wifes Nato mount will begin to move around and loosen up a bit and the phone will sag and flop around- not good. All in all I'm satisfied with the Scosche mount- high quality, easy to mount, solid performance.

Lo estoy usando con un iPhone 12 pro max en mi Mercury del 97 y hasta ahora va de maravilla, le puse otro imán encima para usarlo con la carcasa MagSafe de mi iPhone y hasta ahora (2 semanas) no he tenido problemas, el teléfono, a pesar de ser pesado, se mantiene sin ningún problema en su lugar, tenía miedo que se cayera el teléfono debido a la cantidad de baches que tiene mi ciudad, pero no, el teléfono se mantiene perfectamente. Editado dos meses después: Deje mi carro afuera durante el fin de semana, ya empezó el calor en mi ciudad, este lunes me lo encontré en el suelo, al parecer la cinta 3M no aguanto los 27 centígrados. Editado 6 meses después de compra Le puse cinta 3M para volverlo a pegar inmediatamente después de que se despegó, han pasado 4 meses de eso y hasta ahora sigue pegado en el tablero de mi auto, aún funciona perfectamente, no se ha caído el celular para nada. Recomiendo ampliamente reemplazar la cinta con la que viene de fabrica con cinta 3M de verdad. Actualización- 1 año de uso. Sigue funcionando correctamente. No se caído ni una vez mi iPhone 12 pro max. Tomando en cuenta las horribles calles de mi ciudad y sus impresionantes baches, es increíble que lo sostenga tan bien (el iPhone pro max es pesado). Sigo recomendándolo totalmente. Al momento de actualizar esta reseña el precio es muy elevado, a mi me costó $480 pesos, ahorita está en $1,055. Recomendaría esperar a que baje de precio, es muy bueno, pero no vale mas del doble.

SCOSCHE makes some very high quality product. I had used the older version of magic mount. So bought two of these new ones. Was easier to stick to my dash compared to older model. Hasn't come off even after 3 years. Withstood temp from -40C to +40C and still sticking. Ball joint is smooth and still tight enough to support heavy large screen phones. Hasn't loosened a bit even after continuous use for 3 yrs.
