Fulton 100SHB Heavy Duty Steel Sawhorse Bracket 2 Count

I have a set of these handed down to me by my father. They are much heavier metal and a lot sturdier. The design of these also makes it difficult to assemble. There are to many moving parts that all have to be held together as you put it together. My older ones can also be clamped into the wood better for a more stable set up. These are not terrible clamps, they just could have been designed better.

Definitely NOT the original. As you can see in the pic, not only lighter guage steel but also a different design. The original uses an eye bolt attached to the pivot point. This allows you to tighten down much further. Making the horse much sturdier. You can see the flimsy little plate on the left just bends. The new design would make a better rocking horse than saw horse. Not returning cause there’s nothing better. Will just keep my eye out for my original pairs lost siblings. They’re in a junk shop somewhere, I’m sure.

I purchased two sets (4) to hold my trucks camper shell (<300lbs.). I assembled the first sawhorse (seated and tightened everything well) and went to move it and the top rail came out and a leg fell off with that sides tightening hardware. I reassembled everything and squared it up. To make it stable I had to build and install cross-bracing cross-ways and lengthwise so it doesn't move back and forth and side-to-side. For the money, they are not worth it. Shop around for something better.

I meant to buy two sets but only got one- very sturdy and heavy duty- saving up for the second set now.

DO NOT BUY THESE SAWHORSE BRACKETS. Let me preface this review saying that I am 60 yrs old and have worked on my farm for 30 yrs and worked in an industrial environment for 40 yrs. The description on Amazon is very limited. They look good and look sturdy out of the box. Now here is where the real problems start. The instructions on the ox state that the installation is quick and simple. Well, with two people and lots of patience we got them installed. However, after tightening the wing nut to the stopping point they never got tight on the horizontal 2x4 wood piece. The very thin aluminum piece that supposed to pull the hinges together just continued to bend until the adjusting screw bottomed out. I'm returning them. Horrible product. Poor description. And misleading instructions.

I’m a handyman, and these are not very handy. They are NOT easy to set up, and are NOT very sturdy. I went and bought the Husky ones at Home Depot and they are way better. I wish I could return these. But I doubt I can since I have opened them

I bought this set of 'heavy duty' brackets thinking it would be a little stronger than other 'medium duty' saw horse brackets which I own. On the plus side, they turned out to be 'built like a tank'. However, the downside is that they are physically much larger, which means that they cannot easily be used with saw horses using medium duty brackets. I'll have to buy another set of these heavy duty brackets....My initial impressions (in the first review) were based on the solid feel of the metal brackets but later after attempting to assemble the saw horses I found using the wing nut mechanism made it VERY difficult and 'fiddly' to insert the 2x4 wood and tighten them. Later after using them for a while, the wooden legs became loose. Poor design and a waste of money. Would not recommend.
