Really helpful!
These vocab pages helped my son to learn more about vocab and increased his grammar to a great extent. If you have a child who needs help in vocab, this is the workbook to buy

Smart, simple.
My daughter is a 7th grader in public school. Have been surprised to learn that spelling tests & vocabulary practice have gone to the wayside— so, we are supplementing at home with this. It’s smart, it’s simple. Not overbearing to a student who might already have a full week already on their plate. Both my husband & I try to incorporate the words in everyday conversation through the week. I don’t know that this will be a weekly practice— twice a month lessons & through the summer will be enough. ELA is a vastly important subject— this book does a great job as a supplement.

Good resource
I bought this for word selections for my new classroom as a first time teacher. It has worksheet suggestions but you have to copy them from the book with a bound side or recreate them yourself. Some are meant to be rewritten by you. I do like the book, and recommend it.

Perfect for summer learning
Super happy with this vocab book for my 12 year old son. There are a total of 36 lessons and each lesson contains five words. Each lesson allows them to define the word and then there are two succinct exercises to complete. There is a section in the back that contains the definitions, separated by lesson, and also an answer key. The words are challenging enough but not overwhelming. We also get through each section quickly which is perfect for supplemental summertime learning.

Perfect worksheets for working from home.
Our [now] 13 year old got so far behind after 2 years of distance learning. Summer school was not an option, but we had to try SOMETHING! This was exactly what we needed. He can do 1 lesson a day, or 5 if we’re on a roll. It’s easily understood by him, & by me, too! That’s not always true, either. So it’s been an easy way to get in a bit of what he missed. Hopefully next year won’t be such a shock to everyone as we start the school year.BTW- kid is going into 8th grade. I decided to get the 7th grade workbook. Less stressful content, but I felt like he had too much he missed already. It wasn’t even a review of last years content. It was mostly new to him. I think it helped him a lot. I got a good review of MY 7th grade grammar & vocab, though! I’ll just say that was somewhere in the 70s, so I needed it as bad as he did.
