Perfect for very light blondes
It’s a beautiful colour. As you can see from the picture my hair was really light blonde before. I wish I’d taken a picture of my roots because I had 3 colours there, my natural dark brown, an orangey colour (where i tried unsuccessfully to touch up with with a very light blonde) and then a band of yellowy blonde; this colour sorted all that out completely, I now have just ever so slightly different coloured roots to the rest but it’s completely blended and probably only me that notices. I think when I touch up this will go anyway. I’ve had nothing but compliments, I’m really happy. I have long, thick hair and used two boxes but I bought three and will definitely be buying more. If you’re hair is dyed or highlighted very light blonde, and you can’t achieve that at home during lockdown, this is the dye for you.

Has never let me down!
I have been using L'Oréal Excellence Creme 8.12 for years now and felt it about time I shared my experience. It leaves my hair feeling amazing and the thing I really love about it, is that, without really trying, my hair has highlights. Soooo.... much cheaper than going to the hairdresser! Secret is, don't look at your hair while it's 'taking' - I did the first time and washed it off after 10 minutes (!!) as my hair was looking pink'ish, but it is all part of the process! Try it, you'll love the results.

Ginger tint
Arrived quickly. Easy to use but results massively disappointing. Roots very ginger after use.

Couldn’t recommend more highly!
I have been dying my hair for many, many years and for the last five or so have always used the L’Oreal Recital Preference range but as they unfortunately discontinued my shade I decided to try this one.My hair was pink, I bleached the roots to make them lighter and was concerned I would end up with a patchy result but went ahead anyway! So glad I did as this has covered everything and somehow made it all even, and no pink in sight! It’s a beautiful shade of natural blonde and it’s made my hair lovely and shiny too. Have already ordered some more ready for next time.

Auburn roots even though they were bleached prior.
Apologies for images not being so great. Tbh i didn't want to take pictures at first. So I chose this colour as was most like my natural hair colour. Reading the reviews about the orange tint at the roots, I decided to bleach my roots first, I had bleach blonde ends. Then the day after I died with shade 8.12. Im really not impressed with the warmth in this dye. The name suggests it neutralises atleast or cools down the tone of your hair. Instead I have auburn roots and a neutral moussy tone at the ends. This was on very pale blond hair. So cant imagine using it on anything darker tbh. Your hair would be dark auburn? Hoping some purple shampoo with help to neutralise the copper. If not ill have to get an Ash blonde. Its fair worse in person :(

Hair colour
Great quality product. Friends have complimented me on the flattering colour. It hides my greys well. I would by this product again.

Don't ruin your hair with this.
Turned my dark blonde hair ginger even though I'm naturally only one shade darker! Also stinks of ammonia and makes you choke. The colour on the package is beautiful but it isn't the colour you will get.
