Learning Resources EI-4140 Power, Compatible with Design Sets, Real Working, Kid-Friendly Toy Drill, Blau

I bought this drill to use with Learning Resources EI-4145 Design & Drill Bolt-It Bucket, to have a spare.Interestingly this drill uses 3 AAA batteries and the one with the bucket uses 2 AA batteries.The instructions for this drill show the wrong battery polarity - ie the batteries are shown upside down from what they should be. Externally, the drills look identical. The ratchet on both drills is a bit weak, so it sometimes won't undo bolts tightened with the manual screwdriver in Learning Resources Design & Drill Robot.

First one of these we bought broke within 2 days but it's the only one that worles with the bolts set we have so we had to buy a second. The drill action is quite slow with frustrates my son. The switch on the back to change direction is not easy to engage and the battery cover are almost impossible to screw back on. We would not have bought a second if we didn't have to. Would not recommend and wish now we had picked a different bolt set.

Never worked from day 1 riduculious

Stopped working after first use. Tried replacing batteries, still no good. Really disappointed
