In the current climate EVERYONE seems to be conscious about their temperature.As both my wife and I are vulnerable I decided to buy one of these Thermometers.Best advice is don't buy one that's so cheap it will give bad results!** THIS IS A GREAT WELL MADE DEVICE!! **This particular thermometer is mid range priced and from how it's been performing is well worth the price.It's solidly constructed with a good clear and easy to see digital display.It already comes with batteries and all you have to do is remove the insulator strip from between the batteries and turn it on - it sprang into a self test immediately and was 'ready' to operate within seconds.The instruction manual that came with it is in good plain language and you can follow it to change from Celsius to Fahrenheit depending on which you prefer to read.It hold a good databank of previous readings so you can store your results and see how your temperature is moving up and down.The broad top can be removed for insertion into the outer canal of the ear, if you want to take an ear reading.The removed part is nice and solid plastic and you get a good 'click' when reattaching it to the head of the device.The device itself is neat and solid and shouldn't look intimidating to a small child if you are struggling to get a reading from them.All in all I am happy to give this device a 5 STAR rating for price, construction, operation and operability.Top marks to the company who made it!

Gives a good reading. I prefer Celsius so if you open up the battery compartment and put the toggle button to c you can see in Celsius before you add batteries.I’d advise you to take a few readings of yourself and family members to get used to your average body temp. Some people run hotter or colder than others. I wrote ours on a slip of paper to keep with it just so we know where we are when it comes to needing it.I usually would just check if we were hot to the touch but sadly the world is a different place and we all need to be carefulLove the colour and the nice storage pouch. 🙌🏼

The Ankovo Forehead and Ear thermometer comes nicely packaged, on the box it has a picture of the item on the front with item. Inside the box the item has a nice bag so you can stow away nicely without getting dusty. Also the instructions are simple and easily explained on how to use the item. Also include are 2 x AAA batteries. Item is light and looks neat. Responds very quickly once activated and has auto switch off to save battery life. The head cover is a little stiff at first but once used a few times it does become easier. All in all a nice bit of kit

Amazing little thermometer. Very sleek package, professional looking, came well packed with a case and batteries included. The user guide very easy to follow with step by step instructions.Measures forehead temperature, then you can take the front plastic cover off and turns into a ear thermometer, measures indoor room temperature and objects temperature aswell like your baby's milk bootle..very handy if you have a small baby.Very pleased with my purchase. Would highly recommend this product definetely a 5*

I was a little concerned by some of the reviews but the price was what I was looking for and it had dual abilities so I thought I'd risk it.I'm really glad I did. Personally I prefer using the no contact method because I don't need to worry about wiping it down and it's more comfortable.When I first arrived I thought it was missing a piece but the ear thermometer is actually built into the device. You'll have to pull the cap it quite hard but don't worry it won't break.People have been concerned about the accuracy but for me it's been great. I work in healthcare and we were taught to first aim it at the room and then take three measurements and calculated the average to get most accurate number.In the time we're currently living in I feel a lot safer having a thermometer to hand. This one is quick and easy to use and comes in a nice little package if you want to throw it into your bag.

We’ve been using another branded ear thermometer for years, since the kids were small, but the Covid business has made me think about getting a more accurate one as ours always seemed to read low against under-the-tongue types. This one seemed to have excellent reviews and a very good price - remember how hard these things were to get in April? It’s an excellent design, working as both an in-ear and forehead type. It seems super-accurate and fast too. The in-ear nozzle has hooks on to retain the hygiene covers, though none are included in the box. Overall, I’m delighted!

East to use thermometer. I like the fact you can get an accurate temperature reading without having to make contact with the skin.To use, take a room reading first to establish a baseline. Then hold approx 1 inch away from forehead and press to get reading.If you want to use as an inner ear thermometer then remove the top cap - I had to give this quite a hard tug to get off, but after first couple of times became easier.You are able to mute the beeping if needed, handy if taking a sleeping child’s temperature. However I preferred to keep the beeping noise especially when taking my own temperature so I know when it has registered and been taken.Highly recommend, plus came with an extended warranty.
