Good but not if you don’t know one end of a screwdriver from another.
First off, the instructions were in German, and the box denoted this as DE was ticked. Never mind, I read that the instructions were poor anyway so I worked it out. Most of the fixings are pre installed which does cause some confusion at first, but once I’d worked out what was going on, it was straightforward. The remote control was a bid of a pickle but thanks to another reviewer it became clear how to do it. You will need some electrical connectors to fit the remote control box. It’s a good wide spread of air and low speed is sufficient. All in all, worth the money but it’s not plug and play.

Great Fan. Poor Instructions
First impression was good. Well packed in a really heavy box. First job was check the manual for any obvious problems in assembly. Immediately put it to one side as a rather useless piece of paper. Actual assembly was quite straightforward without the manual with the only problem being that having connected the light cable I could not see how the light fitted on the fan. Once I moved it close the answer was obvious. Its magnetic. It just sticks to the bottom face. Two centre columns are provided. The short one comes fitted in place but I needed the longer one as the fan was bing installed next to a beam ounder the ceiling. Removing the short and fitting the long was the work of a few minutes. Once assembled fitting the, now rather heavy, fan to the ceiling is also straightforward. A bracket is screwed to the ceiling by four large screws and both wood screws and expanding bolts are provided to allow for wood and concrete ceilings. Once the bracket is fitted the whole fan assembly just slots into place. Now to the area where I think better instructions are really needed. Connecting to power. Nothing is mentioned on the instruction sheets but then noted some poor instructions just printed on the box the eviever was delivered in. The fan cables are connected to a remote control receiver which you eventually discover slides in the top bracket over the fan pole. Then the receiver can be connected to the mains. I like to be clear with what I am doing with electricity and one of the things one can normally trust is that power cables are brown, neutral cables are blue and earth is green and yellow. Being rather old I do sometimes come across red and black but the cables on the remote and fan are black, white and yellow with more than one cable of each colour. Eventually decided that the number of cables on one edge of the remote matched the number of cables on the fan so assumed they were the ones to join and then joined the remaining cables to the mains. Not very scientific but pleased to say it was correct and it works. No means of connecting the cables are supplied but fortunately I had a stock of cable connectors. Final tasks to fit the cover over the cables, receiver and top bracket. A bit of a game getting everything underneath but it all went in OK. In use the fan is quite impressive. Much quieter than the one it replaced and a very bright light. It also moves an impressive amount of air, even at the slowest speed. The remote works well for the fan but not so good for the light as the three colour options are awkward to use. There is no control for the colour. The first time the light is turned on it cool white. Turn it off and on again and it is warm white so if you prefer warm white you always have to ogo through on - off - on to get there. The good news through is that when the unit is turned on from the wall switch it defaults to light on. We have the fan in the bedroom with the remote control on the wall over the bed. We can then turn the light on from the wall when entering the room and turn it off by remote when in bed. Then turn on from the bed in the morning. After a while I realised that the long pole was actually too long for what we wanted. Knowing now how everything went together it took about ten minutes to disconnect power, remove the pole, cut two inched off and drill a new hole to connect it to the fan and reassemble. Now it is all up and running I think it is good value and the only long term concern is that I guess it would be impossible to replace the light unit if that failed. LEDs are quite reliable but I have had a couple of failures in the past and this is not a standard light unit.

Research the fittings as this product is not for the novice electricians, great product otherwise
Great fan and light, very quiet. Only downside as mentioned in previous reviews is that the instructions for fitting are diabolical. A lot of online research needed for fitting the receiver box.

Lights don’t last long
Bought this ceiling fan with lights thinking the led lights will last long however they have gone off twice. Seller sent us the replacement the first time however on the second occasion has become unresponsive. I can’t find the light accessory because of which there’s no light in the room. very frustrating situation.

Great performance and quality at a great price!
This fan is really good value for money and provides a lovely cooling breeze with minimal noise on its low setting. Installation has taken me the best part of a whole day mainly because I wanted to use decent anchor bolts and working overhead is pretty tiring plus getting covered in plaster dust while drilling above. Fan is supplied with 2 downrods (long and short) - I used the short one. I was sent a German market item in the UK with DE ticked on the box and instructions in German. There are a couple of videos on YouTube that can give insight on how to install and I was able to follow the pictures in the German manual. TLDR: I am very happy with this fan and just wish I had bought one sooner instead of suffering in the heat with a pedestal fan providing more noise than comfort.

Works well
This is quite a large fan with a number of speed settings. The fan can be set to run different lengths of time, as well as being left to run as long as you need. The lowest speed is probably the only one you may need, as the fan is quite powerful at this speed. The intensity of the light can be set from bright to soft white.
