First Call Blocker to actually work. Our landline is through Ooma - basic plan. Prior to the Vtech phone system we received easily 12 calls a day from numbers identified with a leading “v” and other telemarketing calls. The call block feature of our Panasonic cordless phone system did not help our situation. My research into separate Call Blockers did not find anything that indicated it could help with the “v” callers (I believe it is because the v number is actually in the name field, not the phone number field.) After installing the VTech system in the call screening mode, callers not on our lists must speak their name and hit the # key, all telemarketing calls, including the “v” numbers, stopped. Anyone on our phone list rings right through. For those that speak their name and hit #, we hear their name and have the screening options. It is a well thought out feature. Bonus – the sound quality of phone calls and the answering machine recording quality is far superior to our previous Panasonic system. The same Smart Call Blocker feature can be found in the AT&T branded phones as they are made by VTech. In researching AT&T phones, it was difficult to identify which were the latest and greatest models, so I chose to go with the VTech branded phone system. Minor Cons: The handsets use battery packs instead of individual cells. Individual cells are much less expensive to replace in the future. I wish they had a way to transfer a contacts list other than through a cell phone. I would like to be able to transfer through a computer connection. I would also like to be able to backup the VTech phones contact, approved and blocked lists to a computer or flash. At the writing of this review, the system has been in place for 2 weeks.

Purchased these phones originally because of the long range, but my favorite feature has turned out to be the Spam Call Blocker. The phone flashes, but does not ring, when a spam or unknown number comes. No more car warranty calls or any other unwanted automated calls! You would need to put numbers for automated calls you want/need (Pharmacy, Doctor, Hospital, etc.) in the Allowed list so you don't miss those, but it's easy to add them. The batteries last several days off the charger. The only downside for me would be the sound. It's not bad, but the quality isn't as good as previous phones.

My parents are getting older and I don't like how they answer all the phone calls regardless of what caller id says. My father got his identity stolen. I like how this phone is able to screen calls. It's not perfect and some calls still go through, but it's a lot less than it used to be. Very easy to set up.

Great Product

It works. Connects to my cell phone via Bluetooth as advertised, but sound quality on the handsets is terrible. Very tinny and distant. We used to have a similar set from Panasonic that gave much better service. Went with this one just to try something different. Wish we had sent it back.

The phones work well. The long range feature allows me to take the phone into the porch and into the yard when I go outdoors.

Barely OK. Batteries die quickly even when not in use. Battery chemistry is wrong for continued storage in charger. The wall mount is more clunky than it has to be. Didn't work in the location I bought it for. Really complex menu and phone book structure. (To dial a "one touch" or stored phone number you have to hit almost as many menu keys as dialing the number by hand.) Does not work well with mobile phones (Samsung A-15 and S-24 Plus) All phone books are separate so you can't import your mobile contacts for use on the land line. I often use the old phone to speed dial a number and switch to this one to get the better speaker and mic quality. The call block feature is nice. It's a half step to a well designed modern phone. I would not buy again.

I needed a phone to replace my old three phone Uniden handset. I use Magic Jack and several people could not hear me anymore with these phones. I first tried a Panasonic but the volume wasn't loud enough. This phone has been great. The volume is load, it has a ear phone jack and it does work with a blue tooth headset. It is not convenient however to make calls with the Bluetooth headset but it does answer phones easily. The range appears to be much longer than the 6 feet found in the instructions but the home layout probably makes a difference. The only big issue I have with the phone is that is doesn't keep the time. No matter what I do, it eventually seems to change to some other time zone. I have been able to load my cell phone contacts to it but the phone book is a bit cumbersome to use as well. The call blocking is also nice. The phone is of good quality and I looks good. It was very difficult to get the belt clips put onto the phones. I still have one left to do. Overall the phone is a good value. The charge lasts a long time also.

We had purchased VTech phones some years ago and finally needed to replace. I had purchased these based on the performance of the past phones. These are even better! Large, clear numbers make it easy to see and dial; the flashing light on the top of the phones makes it easy to find them if they aren't in the holders and the display is easily able to be read. They work very well and I'm very glad I purchased VTech brand again.

While we like that phone set, the range is not as large as advertised. When measured from an open window to our unobstructed field, we lose range at about 450 feet. Then the sound gets scratchy and weaker. We downloaded our contact from our cellphone and we used the answering machine. Both performed as advertised. Overall, a good set for the price.

Son excelentes, tienen un gran alcance, teclas grandes, volumen alto e indicador de luz cuando te llaman lo que los hace perfectos para personas con problemas auditivos o adultos mayores. Los recomiendo al 100%
