The the money I think this was a good value and the jawbreakers were pretty good. I would not say the were bursting with flavor but they was definitely a difference in flavors between some of the layers. The center has a slightly sour sweet-start center that I enjoyed. Overall, pretty good, would purchase again.

Stemming from a random conversation at work, I decided to go on a jawbreaker hunt and stumbled across these. They are just the right size (nobody wants a jawbreaker that takes a month to finish off, meanwhile wearing a coat of dried saliva) and they'll take you right back to the '90s. Shared with coworkers who also got a kick out of this blast from the past. The list of ingredients might set off some red flags, but immense fun is seldom good for you.

This is a classic Jawbreaker that actually has a TINY core, unlike the utter disappointments I got from a boutique store near a local theatre. These are serious, do not bite when they get smol, they remain rock hard nearly till the very end. you've been warned. Very good. Bookmarking. Will periodically buy more when i finally run out.

I want 1" jawbreakers to fill a candy machine. I decided to try these and so far, things are fine. My customers buy them regularly. The size is perfect. My machine runs them flawlessly and dispenses only one every time. The overall color is white with speckles of color. The colors change as you go through the candy, but the flavors don't change much beyond a berry flavor of some kind. The core has a bit of tartness to it, but its not big on flavor either. Compared to Wonka jawbreakers, these are not as good, but then the cost is not as much either. My customers don't seem to mind these at all, so I will probably continue to use them. They say they last quite a while, so they are getting a lot for their quarter.

As some other reviewers have pointed out, the quality of these jawbreakers has sadly dropped a truly drastic amount as of recently. I've been regularly (and happily) buying the 1" version for the last few years, but while in the past they've been the perfect item to satisfy my sweet tooth over the course of the hour or so they used to last, I have to assume some major change was made between my last order in January of 2023 and this new order from November 2023: maybe the formula was changed to cut costs, maybe there is a new supplier, etc. But whatever the reason, the outcome is an inferior product in every single way. The newest round of jawbreakers has almost no flavor, the powdery center grew from being slightly larger than a bb to now taking up about 1/4 of the jawbreaker's interior, which also results in a jawbreaker that lasts less than half the time it used to. And again, I really want to emphasize the total lack of flavor, especially compared to the vastly superior version that used to exist. And of course it is a non-returnable item, so here I am stuck with 2 bags (10lbs) of jawbreakers that I bought assuming that they were the same high-quality ones I've enjoyed for years. I'd give them 1 star, but since they *technically* are jaw-breakers I'll give them 2. Edit: adjusting to 1 star...they are just that disappointing.

EDIT 2: turns out the seller mixed multiple brands into one batch to repackage as Sconza brand. There are indeed genuine 1" Sconzas in here (photo in plastic bag), but there is another cheaper jawbreaker mixed in with only three colored layers. Maybe an honest mistake, but now I am wary of repackaged candy (vs retail packaging) _ I couldn't really notice any blatant change in flavor as I progressed through the layers. Seemed to be the same "generic jawbreaker sweetness" all the way through. Overall flavor wasn't too strong. Certainly not the jawbreakers I remember as a kid. Very small core, so it lasts longer than others. Core flavor was interesting; odd tartness at first, but finishes sweet. Admittedly I was expecting better because the packaging discloses the brand as "Sconza". They made the MEGA BRUISER jawbreaker, which was excellent with distinct flavors as you hit each layer. I guess you gotta go bigger than 1" for that tier of quality. EDIT 1: I don't think these are genuine Sconza jawbreakers. These have fewer layers (even as 1" size) and do not taste the same. No real guarantee of brand without the retail packaging like the 1/4", 2", or 4" Bruisers. I just had a bad experience with another seller's "Psychedelic Bruisers" that genuinely had no flavor (I thought the negative reviews were exaggerating!) These were OK, but taste nowhere near as good as Sconza jawbreakers that come in retail packaging. I don't trust bulk repackaged jawbreakers on branding anymore ("Time Bombs" repackaged by SweetGourmet and "Kaboom" 5lb bulk bag were both genuine, though).

The flavour throughout is great! Kinda like a mild vanilla with a mild sugary burst of crumbly berries in the middle! Love these for long car rides when I need a little burst of sugar at the eve of my trip! Will order again!
