I am very happy with this lucky bamboo. It looks great and arrived in fine condition. It was packed very well, and there was only one small leaf cluster that broke off during shipping. It's very healthy and because it's in such good shape, it has room to grow and for the leaves to get longer over time. All I had to do was find an appropriate dish for it, and it should remain in great shape for years to come. Highly recommended.

About 18” tall whereas the sale was around 12-14”. Very happy! Had it in the tall jar in last pic for the first week and my Betta fish swam in/out and all around. Decided to try a shallow dish to give him more external swimming area. I fully expect the twist ties will rust eventually and then I’ll replace with rubber band ties of some sort. Love this pineapple design for my fish! Water is staying cleaner as well.

Love the product only downside is it took over a month to arrive which is hard to gift to someone. For personal use, a great item to add to a zen garden or bamboo themed room.

As advertised. Overall I am happy with the purchase and I would recommend to others. Drawbacks: I did have one stock that became yellow after a week and it was easy to remove it without affecting the overall look. I also noticed some light yellow leaves which I removed. Initially I thought the green color was a bit pale. I bought some lucky bamboo liquid fertilizer and added a few drops every other day. It now looks much greener and healthier. Update: second picture is from Jun 17, 2021. It is thriving. Only one stem turned yellow a few days after they arrived and I removed it. Update: last picture is from Sep 3, 2023

I have purchased 3 of this bamboo’s plants for myself and gifts. Always come very well packaged and in great condition. I purchased a 4th one and I was VERY dissapointed. Not only was very poorly packaged (didn’t have the water gel beads to keep if fresh) but the plant is half the size in diameter and the length of the stalks. I’ve attached a picture of one I bought previously and to the right is the new one. As you can see the glass vases are the same, see how much smaller this new one is. In addition, the plant looks yellow ( more yellow than the picture). After contacting the seller, they said, sorry no returns or exchanges and all the plants are small now. I can understand how supplies might change, but don’t be deceiving when advertising something and be upfront with the size since you are not going to allow exchanges or returns. Also, if you are not going to allow returns, then you must make sure that the plant you are selling is not a sick yellow awful plant. I will contest this purchase with Amazon and hoping they will back me up. As for now, I do NOT recommend this item or this seller, don’t waste your money and avoid disappointment.

This bamboo pineapple came bare-root, in a bag with some sort of gel to keep the roots moist. I got a pot and some smooth rocks and planted the bamboo. It has been over a month and the plant seems to be thriving, going through about a half cup of water every day. I've had this kind of woven bamboo before, and it is very slow growing. It should remain this size indefinitely. It does best in filtered sunlight, and needs feeding very infrequently. It's a shame that the plant came packaged as it was, because almost any kind of vase and rocks would have made this a terrific gift. On the other hand, you can supply those things, and you can give someone a terrific gift.
