This instrument sounds amazing and is easy to use! It’s a little difficult to start reading the music as I have never read kalimba music before. But the tabs are labeled in the letters and numbers so you can easily pick up any song. The color is rich and the sound is rich! The hammer thing in the box is for tuning. There wasn’t an explanation for that in the manual so I had to search on google what it was.This is a great instrument!

My original order was missing a couple of things and when I sent the seller a message, he not only responded quickly but he was very nice and helpful. He sent a replacement even though there was nothing wrong with the kalimba itself.This is my first kalimba purchase and I am very happy with it. I was worried it might be a little on the childish side but it isn't- it is beautiful and very relaxing to hear and play. I would buy this again.

Tuned in C major, came with mallet, cleaning cloths, little intro to the kalimba booklet and stickers. I did not receive the advertised flannelette bag, but the order did arrive quickly. One of the keys wiggles a bit too freely, I thought I broke it or it would go out of tune, but it easily shifted back into place. Not bad for 20 bucks. Sound is beautiful! And blue is my fave color.

I got this for my partner’s 8-year old grandson with the thought that it could be a new way for him to enjoy music - that he could make music too, enhancing his love of listening. That happened - and more: everyone wants to use it.I’d ordered a different Kalimba for his 6-year old sister. Both are good but this one is the one that everyone keeps picking up first and keeps playing.This keeps bringing a lot of enjoyment. A great purchase and value.

I wanted one so bad and searched for many. I finally purchased this one after looking at many. I am a beginner but let me tell you, it is so easy to play. The sound is just angelical and it is manufactured very well.

I bought this as a gift for my niece. The product looks well made and the blue color is just like what is depicted in the pictures. It makes really beautiful soothing sounds. However, I am not the expert on Kalimbas so I will let my niece play around with it before I comment on how easy it is to use and tune-up etc.
