Impressive microphone stand
I do a lot of video work as well as a zoom sessions, and I need a way to have a good clear audio which involves having proper mic placement. I find that when I use a Teibble mic and I'm typing or using my mouse, or reaching for things that those noises are often amplified by a microphone that is sitting on the desk. Hence, I decided to get a crane type of microphone Stand. I was using a very basic one that has the springs, but every time I accidentally bumped it it would go boing… So I saw this particular unit for sale, and it looked a good quality. It was very easy to set up and is very well-made. if there is a negative, it would be that there's not really a swivel where the microphone is and you have to use a screw to tighten it down a little bit. That's it does limit the microphone movement a bit. Other than that you can preset the position and it works just fine. Still a great unit.

LOVE THIS MIC BOOM
I've bought a number of mic boom arms to use in restaurant & nightclub DJ booths. Many only can clamp to the side of a counter. They shift & can come loose easily + don't work when the counter is against a wall. Other inexpensive boom arms are flimsy and break under duress. This Mount-It does it all & at a great value. It's sturdy, has 2 tension adjustments and can be clamp-mounted or drilled & secured anywhere through a countertop. I bought 1 to try but now it's my new standard. I'm ordering more.

Solid and stable design overall, cheap materials
Pros:- Solid, sleek design concept- Excellent range of motion- More than reasonably sturdy- Easy to assemble and adjustCons:- Cheap plastic material- Cable management clips are a joke- Far too expensive for what you getI bought this boom arm to replace my old one that never really functioned properly to begin with, and I chose this particular brand because of the thick, solid anchoring point (the previous boom arm I had used the standard thin metal insert with no structural support, so it constantly slouched over and was super flimsy). After mounting it and adjusting the tensioners, it functions exactly as one would expect and I'm overall pleased with it.However, as I was adjusting the tensioners and testing the range of motions, I noticed that the middle joint at the center of the arm could very easily bend farther back than it's supposed to if the tensioner is loosened more than halfway. This would create a separation at the seam and felt like it was going to come apart at any moment. Additionally, the cable management clips are a joke. They barely remain seated on its own, and if there's any tension coming from the cable pushing up from under the clip, the clip will come undone easily. One of the clips simply lost the ability to latch down entirely out of the box, and I'm unable to use it now.At the end of the day, I'm not returning it because it excels at all the features I want in a boom arm, even though it falls a little short in other areas. At the price that it's at right now, I couldn't recommend it to anyone else, but if it's on sale for under $40, I'd say pick it up. I don't think it's bad by any means, just too expensive for what you get.

Very sturdy and stable
I really like this boom! It is strong enough to easily hold a Blue Yeti mic, and the mic threads right onto the adapter at the end of the boom. The joints have adjustments to make them easier or harder to move. The built-in cable management is a really nice touch and gives the setup a clean look. The clamp is large enough to fit over my 2-inch thick desktop without any problems. My only minor complaint is the pin that goes from the bottom of the boom into the desktop mount is a little loose. The only time you notice it is when you have the joints pretty tight and lift the mic. Fortunately, I don't have to do that because I can swing the boom/mic out of the way.

Great Boom, great brand.
This is the best mic boom I've ever bought, and it's super consistent. I've tried doing a lot of different setups, trying to figure out what it's weakness is. It does have some issues with heavier mics, but overall, the mic boom by Mount-It is sturdy, sleek, has a great base and smooth mechanisms make this a great buy.

Great for the money
Great professional looking mic stand. While it can be a little wobbly I think that's because of the way I have it mounted and not its construction. I love the reach and range of motion I now have.

Sturdy
The media could not be loaded. It's a really great product and it's a good fit for anybody needing a boom arm, it's strong, sleek, and just feels really nice to move, it barely moves if you hit it by mistake and if you're intentionally moving it it'll feel like air.Overall great quality and great design if you hate those pesky wires everywhere.

Loving it
Nice product, it has a good system to hide the cable and keep it clean

Be careful with tension knobs
The media could not be loaded. My mic is half weight stated and the arm is barely holding on to it and keeps sagging down I have to adjust every time I use it I may be doing something wrong I don't know. The video attached is me tightening it and hitting it lightly and you see it saggs a lot. Otherwise the build quality is ok 3-4 out of 5 for me I like it. Cable management is so nice to have and after everything it still works for me so I'm not buying another if you have a rode podmic or heavier though maybe look elsewhere it says 4.4 lbs but my mic is 930g (about 2lbs or so)

Weak tension and failed in under a year
I bought this because of the 4.4lbs rating since I have a fairly heavy mic, a shock mount and a reflection shield. The total weight is maybe around 2.5-3lbs. The arm refused to hold my mic up even at the max tension. It also failed within about 8 months; the swivel base is stuck and won't rotate anymore.
