The box camera is a mini box camera but this does not effect the performance of the camera. The lens and the camera work great and produce a clear crisp picture for an analog solution.

We use this camera at our church to send video to overflow room. Works good.

There are not many cameras left to buy for old security systems using ntsc video. This camera is a winner as this price point. I bought a spare and will buy another. My system uses 8 cameras and this is a good replacement for the time when one of these cameras fail and they all do eventually fail. I have had this system going now for 20 years. I have a digital recorder and multiplexer for single screen viewing of all cameras. The resolution is good enough for security of our home. This camera has a menu that allows adjusting the picture quality. It starts right up in ntsc format so there is no fooling around with menus trying to see a distorted picture because it started in pal b or something. The format is 6X9 and fits this standard of monitor quite nicely. I just dumped my last square format camera. It also has a manual zoom to adjust the area seen. I don't know what else you could ask for in this legacy type camera.

The image sensor on this camera is as cheap as it gets. As soon as the light is dim or at dusk, the camera video is very noisy and grainy to the point that it is unusable. If you are only looking for use in well lit conditions, then maybe it will be ok depending on your preference.

I may have overlooked the details that would have alerted me that thus camera does NOT come with a power cord thus requiring the wait for another order to arrive

This camera is just NTSC (standard color analog) resolution, which is exactly what I was looking for. (There are other versions of this camera with true HD output.) It adjusts easily and can focus on close up things. The image is slightly distorted (a bit of fish eye effect), but that wasn't important for my application. It has a nice onscreen display control. Bottom side has a standard tripod mounting point.

This is the best value I've found for a small camera that has a lot of controls. Used two of them in an exhibition and was happy with the picture quality. If you are one of the few people looking for a camera to use for video art/video feedback this works very well.

At first I cringed thinking I had to replace a broken camera. One quick look and I found one I thought would work. Not a name brand but identical in looks to the broken one. I was surprised with the quality of my choice. Works perfectly.
