Haven't used it yet but nice to have
I gave it a 5 star without using it and hopefully won't need to for survival. Bought for my emergency kit with everything going on, it's just nice to have something. Plus feel better now when I go hiking. We'll see how it works out, if I ever have to use it.

Paracord!
It's paracord, actual paracord not the fake substandard paracord that says it only holds like 100 pounds, it's called 550 cord for a reason 550 is the duty rating. If it don't hold at least 550 pounds it's definitely not paracord.

Change the strap description and you got what you ordered.
Top down: 25 ft of cord without the advertised strap to keep it together. (Also, the advertised picture makes 25ft look like a lot more). Red tinder line, lit fast when torn in half and used about 4 steel & ferro passes. Yellow “fishing” line, seems pretty strong. Cotton line. Then 9, count ‘em 9 seemingly generic nylon para lines. ? Confused by that, was expecting 7. So either it’s really strong or they don’t know what they making. I’m not jumping out of a plane or testing this stuff any where near 550 lbs. I did not weight test it. I’m pretty sure it will hold up. A little miffed about the missing strap but for a 9 strand with the three additional strands I guess I should be happy for the price.

Practical, eh.... cool, heck yeah
The practicality of having a utilitarian para cord like this is not that great. I see some look like they use as laces and others as pack gear. Really are you going to tear apart your laces in a need or have your gear lose in your pack, maybe?? But is it fun to know you have the resources on hand if needed. I think this will be incorporated in bug out gear and not alternate EDC use. Very cool and each type of string functions as its suppose to. Like the fire starter caught on first strike which is nice!

High-vis "survivor" cord.
I like the orange color. The internal wick functions as advertised. Overall, a great product. A littly pricy, but worth it.

Outstanding
Perfect product. Bright and durable. Something to note however is when cord is cut and the end is burned to close the cut. The fire cord inside will want to keep burning. Just have some water to dip it in while you seal the cord shut.

Essential bit of kit.
All bushcrafters need 30 metres of this, the content and makeup is really useful in practice. Not used in an emergency situation but have practices many uses of this type of paracord. My 5 metre line snapped at 436 pounds in weight, so not sure why as I knotted and heatshrunk each end.The line is good, the strands are tough and usable, the firecord, does light with a match or lighter, but if you are lighting it with ferro, split it up and fray it to a wool like substance. But it will light. (Practice makes perfect)

Practice before needing it in an emergency.
The cord part is good and strong, excellent for lanyards and construction. The tinder part, less so. It needs to be flattened and shredded to work at all, I personally think that in an emergency situation using a ferrocium/magnesium stick it would be extremely hard to start a fire using this fire cord. I would make sure to practice in a controlled environment BEFORE getting out in a wilderness and needing to use it to survive.

Brilliant
As nothing else could hold my Gazebo down in the winds UK we have had this year. This product is strong & unbreakable. The best.

Great piece of kit!
Actual survival cord. Tested fire line (waxed), works perfectly and did test the sewing thread as well. The only thing I did not test was the fishing line. Highly Recommend!
