Met my expectations. Would do business again.

Some of the negative reviews here are user related, but there's one I'd like to address and that is the claim that this does not block data because Hak5 Malicious Cable Detector detected it as malicious. That is a false positive from Hak5. You can do the research and see where those false positives occur and why. I’m not being critical of the Hak5 Malicious Cable Detector. The claim made that it doesn't block data because of that false positive is incorrect. I have tested this on Linux as well and it does block data. I tested all four pieces and they all operate appropriately. I cannot comment on longevity.

Well, these definitely work as advertised. After a number of tests, data is completely disabled. This will affect the charging speed of a number of devices, as their quick-charge protocols cannot be detected, but that's an expected tradeoff when securely connecting to public power supplies. The build quality is decent, though the only minor issue is that the USB A plug does fit a little snug and requires a tiny bit more force to insert / remove. Still, great little data blocker plugs for the price.

These are a must have for traveling or just charging your devices in public places. These days you cannot be too careful when plugging your phone or device into a public (unknown) or shared charger. These little beauties block data from being transferred to or from your device and will only let your device charge. They are too inexpensive to NOT have. I bought this 4 pack and gave them out to some friends and family. Do yourself a favor and snag some.

Does what it is supposed to do. It is a snug fit for the USB cable but that's better than some of the wobbly ones out there. Charge performance is the same as without it, still fast charge using a plug. Connecting to the laptop it doesn't show my phones as drive any more so it seems to work as advertised. Is it possible for some nefarious mind to figure out a work-around? No doubt. So if I'm really paranoid at the airport, I'll just use this *and* plug the charger into the power outlet and not the USB station. Or use a power bank.

Gives you a worry free charge for your devices. No way to get malware or bugs on your device, since no data is swapped. Easy to use and gives you confidence to charge anywhere. Just don't plug it into a strange charging station and forget it and loose it. Always be mindful that you are plugged into this device. Great way to keep your devices safe from viruses and malware. I do highly recommend this adapter.

Perfect! Note: Don't get discouraged when you first use it. Plugging your cord or device into the port blocker is a very snug fit. They're so snug that i almost thought I'd have to return them. The price is great. Does exactly what they're supposed to do and i know this isn't a really big deal but the red is really pretty!

Metal case sturdy, fast charging with no data connection.

These are a must security item for anyone who stays in a hotel or travels in an airport. This device simply circumvents the comms port for your USB device (i.e. mobile phone or laptop) and allows the charge to pass through. Proof is that works; at home, I plugged my phone into my laptop and was able to see all of my files/folders on my android phone. I added this device and I could not see any files/folders. Keep yourself protected from hackers at hotels and airports and order some of these for yourself and your friends/family.

Tut, was draufsteht. Ideal beim Arbeiten mit Ladebuchsen in Bibliotheken und anderen öffentlichen Orten, wie Hotel, Flugplätzen, Cafe usw. und gut ist, dass vier Stück geliefert werden, denn ein paar Stück für die verschiedenen Geräte, Taschen usw. kann man immer brauchen.
