Great little SD knife. I take it with me when walking the dog early in the morning or late at night. Love the 2.3”+ leaf-shaped hollow ground blade. Not sure how well the black blade coating will hold up, but AUS-8A steel has good corrosion resistance and it will only come out in case of emergency so I’m not too worried about it. The angle of the blade and palm filling full-tang handle make it very efficient and comfortable to draw and use for its designed purpose. I chose the combo edge as the plain portion is effective for penetration with the toothy serrations following for effect. Came pretty sharp but quickly touched up the plain edge portion with my Sharpmaker and strop to my liking. Sheath is secure with no rattle and fast, easy deployment. Sheath and clip hold it snuggly and comfortably on a leather belt or tucked into gym shorts. Lots of flexibility in how you chose to carry it and is highly concealable if desired. Love the desert tan color (comes with the CE edge only) and the inclusion of a wrench and extra screws for the clip is a nice touch. Be sure to check your local laws on if and how you can legally carry it. All in all, this is a super value when you purchase through a reliable channel like Amazon.

Like a lot of reviewers, I bought this knife as yet another EDC option, and I love it. The serrated edge is great for cutting cord, and the blade takes a razor sharp edge with just a few passes on a stone. Mine will shave arm hair off clean now, though it was a bit dull when it arrived. The angle feels nice in the hand, and the handle is a great "small knife" size even for my bigger hands. Lots of people hate the sheath, but I find it to work ok. I'll probably still grab an aftermarket one to try out (I love sheaths almost as much as knives, tbh) but I've had no issues with this one so far- I know clips bend, and so i'm careful when removing the sheath from my pants or belt. The knife fits tight in the sheath, and pops out with a bit of thumb pressure on the sheath... I prefer to use a little thumb pressure, especially since I'm more of a "my knife is an every day tool" kind of guy- I want that thing to stay snug and retained on the jobsite. I'm sure it's also a great self defense weapon, though my has only defended me against twine and packing tape so far. TLDR: rad little knife. Get it.

My man bought this about a year ago. Really nice quality. He uses it asan everyday carry. Nice fit in the waist band. The grip is really comfortable. Very easy to carry and place wherever with the clip

Other than the fact it’s stamped with “Made in Taiwan” right on the blade it an awesome little knife. I’ve only had it for a day so I can’t attest to its’ longevity but I’m only using it as a self defense weapon, not an everyday blade for opening boxes and such. It’s razor sharp out of the box. The weight feels good in your hand but isn’t not even noticeable when it’s on a belt or even gym shorts. It deploys easily if it’s anchored to a belt but a little trickier with gym shorts. It still deploys but you have to tug a bit harder to get it out which, is probably a good thing. The clip is reversible which is really nice. It gives you the choice to not only carry right or left side but you can choose which way the handle is positioned too. I reversed mine so when it’s on my right side the knife will deploy with the blade in my palm so it’s facing away from my body. I prefer this position as I can still close my fist easily with the handle in my hand. This is the preferred method of carry for self defense purposes. All-in-all I’m very happy with this knife. For the price point you can’t go wrong. I compared it to a lot of similar knives and I’m glad I chose this one.

This is a great little knife, especially for the money. Very sharp out of the box. Speaking of the box... mine was taped shut with Scotch Tape, so it was obviously a return. However, the knife and sheath were in the original bags and clearly unused, so I kept it. One thing I do notice, and the reason for deducting 1 star, is that when wearing the sheath in the small of my back with shorts and a shirt untucked sweat can and will migrate into the sheath and subsequently onto the knife. Given that the blade is not stainless I know it will begin to rust over time. Furthermore, when new the knife is definitely hard to remove from the sheath, at least on my knife. Otherwise, I've used the knife several times already just opening my other Amazon deliveries :-)

Perfectly sized for EDC. Fits nicely on belt and is not really noticeable under a “not tucked in “ T-shirt. Very sharp out of the box. Fits my large hands well. Easy to access but a tad more difficult to return to the hard sheath. Very solid knife/sheath, typical of Kabar workmanship. Price is very good for quality you get with this.

Most of the reviews for the actual knife are excellent and I agree. I will address the negative reviews about the holster. The major complaint about the holster is that it is too tight and it is difficult to remove the knife. I disagree. As you can see from my pics the holster has a thumb grip to assist in removing the knife. A quick press results in an audible click as the knife releases and then it is free to grab. I would consider this a safety feature and not a con. The knife is always firmly in the holster until you want it. Anytime someone purchases a concealed weapon for self defense the expectation should be that they practice unholstering and "dry-firing" the weapon. I have had mine for a day and have probably randomly drawn it 100x already, each time becoming faster at clicking off the "safety" and withdrawing the weapon. This will insure muscle memory when I need it most. In my opinion: Great knife, great holster, but they sell aftermarket ones right here on Amazon that are looser if you just can't get used to it.

Wow, what a cool knife. The power it gives you on thrusts is greattt, the guard to stop ur hand from sliding up is bigger then it looks and is safe like i wanted, the pistol grip action gives you alot more strength and this thing is still nimble. Small but not that small. The sheath is not absolute crap it has a decent retention to it. I guess not if u wear ur knives upside down....metal clip on it is designed for wide duty belts. its a good sheath for a 70 dollar knife straight up. i will upgrade sometime to some sweet custom sheath for fun and because it will be better. i have small to medium hands and i get all fingers on this blade easily with some tiny bit more room to spare. suuper sharp, ask the box it came in. one of my favorite purchases to date, the sheath it comes with is good. But its also worth getting a better sheath cause this knife rocks your socks. Really good for opening boxes and all that. I got the combo edge and love that i did. in coyote brown it looks so nice. 箱出しで紙がスッと切れました。 メーカーやレビューの数からして良いものだということは分かると思うので実際に触った感想挙げます。 ハンドルは思ったよりも急角度だった。折り畳みナイフだったら不安しかない角度ですが、シースナイフなので大丈夫なはず。ただカランビット系のリングの有難みを実感。穴に指入れとけば刃の方に滑ったりしないですからね。 キャンプとかでワンチャン食べ物切れないかなと思いましたが、まあ参考画像見てわかることですが切っ先とグリップ後端がマナ板などに同時にぶつかります。このナイフ専用の技術を身に付ければ調理にも使えるかもしれません。 シースにはしっかりカチッと入ります。多分文字通り振り回しても大丈夫。ハンドルも丸くて引っ掛かりにくいですし、しっかり真上に引き抜かないといけないので誤って抜ける事態はほぼ無いでしょう。 シースのクリップは付け替え可能ですが、私の場合参考画像とは逆側にクリップが付いた状態で到着しました。シースを外側にして右手用に装着すると逆手になってしましますが、ベルトの内側やズボンの内側に装着するのであれば順手になりますね。もちろん職質一発アウトなのでやりませんが、妄想の中のキャラクターに装備させるときの参考にはなりました。 一応スペック上は銃刀法外のナイフかもしれませんが、たとえ本当にキャンプ中であっても軽犯罪法でトラブル起きそうなものですので、日本においてはコレクション用途か、文明滅亡の危機への備えとして家に置いておくのがいいでしょう。

If you live in a country like me (Canada ) where carrying a gun is illegal and don't want to lug around a heavy knife in your pocket everyday then I would say this is the perfect knife to get. Takes a little bit of practice to be able to draw it fast without the whole sheath coming off but you can just use your thumb to hold down the sheath as you draw the knife. Well made. Light. Cheap. Delivered the next day. And sharp. A great combination. What more could you ask for?

This is on my EDC and I really have enjoyed having it. It is comfortable to wear while sitting and remains unnoticed during the day. It is well made and feels as such.
