My 10 year old grandson loved this as a birthday gift. He is using it in his bedroom. The globe is light enough to throw a bit of light so it's not totally dark in the room but not so bright he cannot sleep. It came with a remote control so it's easy to change the colors which are very pretty. It is rechargeable so you don't need batteries. And it has its own small wooden stand to keep it upright. Great gift for a kid.

I ordered the 7 inch globe for myself, and 2 of the 4 inch globes for my little boys. We ABSOLUTELY love them! Received them fast and setting them up was easy. Just had to push the stand's pegs together, placed the globe on it and plugged it in. Each came with their own remote, stand, and micro USB charging cable (no wall plug). You need to have an available USB wall plug thingy for each, but it wasn't a big deal ( I already knew I needed some so I ordered them off Amazon *$10.00 for a 5 pack* at the exact same time and received them together so win-win) They are exactly like the pictures and description. Plenty of brightness, or dimness if you prefer. Looks beautiful like a moon, nice vibrant and deep colors. My only issue was the remotes are finicky. I have to push the buttons a few times for it to register that I'm pressing it, even right up next to it. Will update the review if anything changes, but as of right now March 2021, 5 stars, even with a finicky remote.

Works so well may have to buy 2 more. Calming effect on person bought for, good quality, easy to use, not bright.

I purchased this product a while ago. I am using it in my office and trying to turn it on if I remember since it's connected to my computer. One of the things I like about it is the simplicity of the product that creates a relaxing aura in my work environment. I like having a dim light around, so the lamp is definitely not bothering my vision in this context.Another thing I like is the availability of different moods (flash, smooth, fade, strobe) that make it create a nice view. Of course, the colors are bright and distinguishable enough. Especially the smooth mode is my favorite since it makes the colors change smoothly. Last but not least, I liked the longevity of the charged lamp. It's not forever but if you plug it off the power, it will last for a while and that's a nice touch.However, it has some quirks that needs attention. First and foremost is the remote control. You have to try a couple of times to make it work. In my situation, it's not far from the lamp, the batteries are okay and I am sure I press the buttons correctly, but it never works for the first couple of clicks. Second, it must be connected to a power supply (through USB) almost all the time. The biggest problem is if you want to keep it on all the time, it must be connected to a continues USB outlet. In my case, when I turn off my computer, the lamp goes off as well. It would be great to have an outlet converter for the USB. Lastly, the cables are too short so that I have to keep it in a very limited area. I am not asking for 3 feet cable but it would be nice to have a little longer cable.Overall, I like the product and have been using it for a while. It did not create any problems or hasn't been broken. If you are okay with the quirks I mentioned above, I'd say give it a go. It's worth for the money.

We gave this as a birthday gift to our 9 year old grandson, and he loves it. He leaves it on overnight so he has a little extra light to see when needed. It shows all different colors and he really enjoys it.

I have had one for 11/2years but had to replace it because it no longer worked properly When I bought this new one, I read the instructions. The old oneI didn't use the right charger nor did I use it properly. It was always left on. I got it actually at Christmas in 2022 We had the steal a gift from someone else. It was my sons turn and he really wanted it but I held onto saying no I want it.Glad he let me keep it. It helps me sleep.

Doesn’t put out much light. I was thinking it would be bigger or at least put off more light, but it puts off about as much light as a small hallway night light, it might actually put out less. It looks cool though and thank goodness my oldest child isn’t afraid of the dark, because he likes it just to look at and is fine with a really dark room. If my other 2 sons were to get this they wouldn’t like it. They need more light to sleep. It’s really just a cool glowing ball.

The pictures are a little misleading as it shows a galaxy like look - however still super cute! Perfect nightlight for the kiddo!

We wasn't satisfied with the product. That's on us. But when we wanted to return it we got the return paper as usual but it's from the China company and as I got to the Postal return she tells me it will cost 60$ for the return!! First it cost more than the product and second since when with Amazon it cost to return ?! Made a complaint so hopefully will get the right return document were it's free ! Very disappointed.
