A lot of other cheaper USBs don’t work well. We mainly use these to load videos to play on large monitors. These USBs can handle large videos of high quality, they are fast to transfer, and recognized even on our older monitors. Yes, they are going to more expensive but after having tried out cheaper USBs that would sometimes play and sometimes not, I highly recommend biting the bullet and just purchasing these because I know I don’t have to worry about reliability!

Yes I still use these. It is a great, simple way to transfer large video files and save important documents. I had a bunch of old, small, usb2 drives that I formatted and gave away. Upgrading to new usb3 drives was very worth it. These are much faster! They are even a little faster in a usb2 port than the old drives. My old drives were all SanDisk and still worked perfect. No reason to even look at other brands for me.

Good item. Sadly it is slower than most newer usb C units. The security software works, once you download the required update, but make sure you place it on the thumb drive, instead of on you hard drive

Honestly, this was so cheap and it more than doubled the capacity of my chromebook. If you're looking to do something like that, it's at a great price point for that.
