Big Boyz 15oz Pack of 3

My dogs love the taste of these, and I love that they're one ingredient without lots of processing. The color and texture are really nice, which shows me the high quality of the product. I have 2 large breed dogs, and they prefer these over most other treats I've given them. They're a great alternative to the mainstream ultra-processed dog treats I find in the grocery and pet stores in my area. They take my dogs only a minute to chew, but I've noticed that they give their teeth a little cleaning and their breath a little freshen when they have one or two a day.

Great quality, lasts 5 minutes or so for a large dog, aggressive chewer, a healthy alternative to rawhide, and they're large slices.

When my late Boston, Bowser, had food allergies, our veterinarian dermatologist said he could have these. I started feeding them to him and my Puggle, Daisy. Now that Bowser is gone (old age), I continue to feed them to Daisy and Derby, my rescue mutt. They love them and they are GREAT for their teeth. Just took Derby to the vet for his annual checkup. He is 3 and the vet said he had super teeth. Sam's Yams also help their breath. They are great, chewy treats and have no artificial anything in them, they're just sweet potato. All I have to say now is 'Time for Sam's Yams' and Daisy and Derby come running. Have to avoid saying Sam's Yams when it's not time to give the treat because they get upset with me. The Big Boyz are a little consistently bigger than the regular and although my dogs are medium sized (25 and 17 pounds), I give them the big ones for more chew time. If you have a dog any smaller than that, get the regular ones. Perk is there are more smaller ones in the bag. A little pricey but well worth it - and they're a lot cheaper on Amazon than I've found them anywhere else! (Esp. if you're Prime, no shipping charge if you buy the right ones.)

My two German Shepherds absolutely love Sam’s Yams as their morning snack. Right after breakfast, each dog gets one, and they go crazy for them. These are great for dental health because they require chewing and are very low-calorie. Most of the yam passes through during digestion, which—fair warning—makes for some very colorful poops. Just give one a day, easy to feed unless you want to cut them in half, you need strong hands and scissors, they are unbreakable otherwise. We’ve been giving these to our dogs for years and love both the brand and the company’s ethos. If you have large dogs, as I do, the subscription option (around five bags a month) is the way to go. When we start running low, I just cut them in half—the dogs don’t know or care, they get the snack they crave. 100% dehydrated Yam, no additives.

We've been buying the Sam's Big Boyz large yam treats for our twelve year old black lab, Gracie for about four years now. She loves them and it takes her awhile to chew up one. My only issue is that these yam slices were much bigger when we first bought them and have gotten smaller lately. Other than the smaller size they are a favorite, natural, healthy treat for our baby. Thanks to Sam's Big Boyz for a quality product we can trust.

I bought the Big Boyz by mistake. I have a small dog and didn't notice these are much longer and thicker. He loved them anyway. He likes to shred and chew, so he has a big time with these. My vet said to never give rawhide as it can block the intestines. This is a perfect way to give Gus a way to fill his need to chew and shred. Dehydrated yams, no preservatives, no bleaching of the rawhide....a very good treat and he loves the taste. If you get the Big Boyz it's just a bigger challenge for the little guy. Perfect for larger dogs and a good way to clean their teeth. Lots of fiber for them, so no chance of constipation. It is very hard to find rawhide (which I don't use anymore) made in the USA. The bleaching process is not something I want my dog to sink his pretty little teeth into. I love SAM'S YAMS and so does Gus, oh he wants to comment too............ok Gus, tell the good folks............WOOF, WOOF, WOOF, I'd take a tram to get a yam,,,,,,,,,,,,ok Gus, thank you for your comments.

We have three dogs, and one is a bit of a "picky" eater, and I have given Sam's Yams to ALL of them, with no complaints and wagging tails from everyone. I didn't want to have the mess on the rugs (or smell) of real rawhide, and I didn't want to worry about bone chips with regular bone treats. These are our guys' FAVORITE treat, hands down. To make them last longer overall, you can bend and break them into small pieces (which I always do), and simply give them as a smaller treat, vs. giving them the entire 'slice' of sweet potato as they come packaged in the bag. Even though they don't last for hours like a "rawhide" does, I just don't care. I've had my fill of trying to keep the dogs in one tiled area with their chews / bones so that they don't get crud on the carpet or rugs (that I have to clean!). With this product, you have: (1) a super healthy treat (2) something that doesn't have the risk of bone chips (although of course, I don't give them these treats and leave the house -- and I don't do that with any treat) (3) a treat that does NOT stain the carpet or rugs (at ALL!), or rub off or stain your dog's fur (4) a treat that is made from dried sweet potatoes and ONLY that ... no preservatives, no 'animal parts', no artificial colors, no chemicals, no other "mystery" ingredients that you can't identify - just 100% dried sweet potatoes. I've checked around and Amazon seems to have the best price - I recommend these VERY highly (and I would say that our dogs all agree!)
