10 Blank Egyptian Papyrus Sheets for Art Projects and Schools 8x12in 20x30cm

They are fun and beautiful,make good paper for messages and artwork.

I bought this to make up some fun projects for our study of ancient Egypt. The paper is very pretty, textured, crinkly (perhaps a bit brittle), and just exactly what I wanted. The cut edges are sometimes uneven, but for me it is no big deal. I also received a bunch of fun papyrus bookmarks in plastic sleeves; the pictures on them were varied but all had a "Hieroglyphic Alphabet" on them. It was a pretty awesome surprise that I was not expecting. We have made some great drawings on the paper and I am very happy with it.

Used to be, if a paper company sold 'papyrus' it was just wood-fiber paper dyed tan. This is real papyrus, two layers of strips at right angles, ragged edges and all. I have not tried writing on it with a reed pen. The material is not as flat as writing paper, and you do not want to fold this stuff!

Quality is fine! Fun to use for art projects!

This was a $28 mistake in every way. The 3D photos do not look nice in person, other them the Bast cat, and with flucuations in weather, humidity vs dryness, i have my doubts about applying and "reapplting" (as they state) the decals directly to the wall that they would last very long in place. The pictures themselves look cheap. It states Egyptian, but there is a pic of a greek object that absolutely does not fit in to my African/Egyptian bedroom in any way. The directions say the 3D affect doesnt show until it is placed on the wall. I didn't separate the decal from the photo, but i did put them against the wall amd view them from a distance. It was just a slight 3D affect , regardless if 3D or not, it was just 2 cheap looking. I'm used to being able to have the free return option which this company does not have. It would cost me $6.50 to return. Plus i currently don't hane computer or printer access and they won't mail a label to me. Needless to say, i hope I can give it as a gift to someone who is not as picky as i am, and still might appreciate them. I'm am artist and LOVE ancient Egyptain artifacts. It is HIGHLY IMPORTANT for any company to give the utmost in customer service, competition is great and the public watches how they spend their money amd to whom. I would not have written a review if i was able to return it. I rarely have returned items in the many years i have bought from amazonsmile.com ive been most happy with amazon, however, and they DO send donations to my charity ofchoice, i check to make sure occasionally. I will not be buying from this company again, and be more careful about trading polivies from "third party" companies. Save your $$ this are just not worth the price.
