LEGO Creator Super Soarer Kit (100 Piece)

This is a great little kit. It took me about 20 minutes to build the swing-wing fighter, the main build of the three, with a little help from my three-year-old son. The first few steps were within his ability with me just talking him through it and keeping the pieces organized. The second half was more advanced, so I built it while he watched. It was still great fun though, and the finished swing-wing fighter is very cool and fun to play with. My son loves it. I would not try throwing it, but it holds together well even when he plays with it normally.We have not tried building the other two planes yet, but that does not really matter. For the price (about $7) this is a five-star kit even for the main build all by itself. It is great addition to anybody's Lego collection and would make a great stocking stuffer for either a Lego enthusiast or newbie.Also, for jet nerds, this is reasonably close to being an F-14 Tomcat, albeit with an unusual paint scheme.

Another solid quality model from LEGO. To anyone that questions LEGO's pricing, trust me, their bricks are the highest quality that every other company aims to copy. After cheaping out and trying other brands that there a fraction of the price, I'm back to LEGO and have this to say: No other brand makes such a high quality product as LEGO. Mega blocks is a mid range 2nd but COGO/COGI is THE WORST of all plastics. I digress.Short answer: Jet fighter model was cooler than I expected and well worth the price!

Awesome product. Its so great watching kids look at the directions and try to build complex shapes. Really helps them follow directions, take things step by step vs rushing.We like the 3 different options to build. great idea!After building the various items, as expected, the legos join the other in a big box for more creative play times.

Just built this set with my son. It's only 100 pieces, but still a very nice representation of a F-14 Tomcat. It has a very ingenious method for building the wings which work like a real F-14. We haven't built the other 2 models yet, but the primary model is very good. This is a typical high quality set from Lego, with an unexpected and clever building technique for constructing the wings.

Gifted (along with a couple other Lego sets) to a family of young boys, and it was a huge hit. Very age appropriate.

My 4 year old loves legos and my 2 year old loves to break them apart. I love that these sets are a little less complicated than some of the bigger trucks and mega packs and the whole point is to build and rebuild into different things. This is a great little set that encourages learning how to build a variety of objects with the same pieces - which for me is the best part about legos.

i bought this as a gift for my little nephew. but the box is all crumpled up. now his birthday is tomorrow and I still got to go out and look for a gift

My 5 year old son bought this with his chore money and just loved it. He had a little help assembling, but was able to do most of it himself. Holding up well -- he likes to keep them together after he's assembled.
