Great product and easy to work with - first time user/DIY
I was skeptical at first since I have never worked on sound dampening before. I just wanted a quieter car. I've watched hours of videos of how to apply and multiple brands. I took a gamble with this 80mil product since it was USA made and I was not disappointed. I bought two boxes of this stuff and it was really sticky. When rolled out, I had some of the rubber ooze out so I can overlap the next sheet. Going around intricate areas was difficult because of how sticky it was and how I had to apply it. What made it easier was the way the sheets were designed. I could put a sheet in, let's say the door, get rough measurements on the fly, cut, size up, confirm the fit, then peel off the backing and stick it in and roll. Sometimes the space was too small and it was a pain getting in, but I know for sure it's going to stick on vertical and upside down surfaces.I ran out of sheets for my 2005 scion tc and ordered more. For others interesed in doing this to their car, I recommend getting about 100 sq ft. I bought 40 the first time, 20 the second time and I don't think it would be enough. Yes the math doesn't add up because my friend gave me 40 sq ft of Fatmat I used for the floor and I was not a fan after using it. It wasn't as sticky and it was harder to work with. I gutted the entire interior (door, rear seats, trunk, and rear quarter panels) and did 100 percent coverage.I'm going to combine this product with their 1/2" (455mil) sound deadener (80 sq ft+) and egg carton foam. If vibro garage made egg carton foam, I'd probably buy it since I am extremely satisfied so far with their 80mil product. After all is said and done, I'll post the results and a quick video and pictures the difference the rubber makes.Current decibels in cabin: 75-80 (only road and engine noise)Ideal decibel reduction: 20-30Actual decibel reduction: TBD/TBA.

Premium product in the sound deadening category
You can go cheaper, but if your time is short, this is a trusted product that goes on easily, cuts easily and has class leading performance. I installed half a box on the walls and ceiling and rear doors of a 2018 Chevy Express Cargo van, and noticed an immediate and marked improvement to the booming and echo. The rear doors now close with a thud, and I only put a half piece on each one. I have maybe two pieces on the roof so far. I'll get around to using up the rest of the box and will be interested in any incremental improvements. My point is that you don't have to cover the entire surface with this material. A patch of it is effective over a larger area than the patch. Maybe covering the entire surface would be even more effective, but I suspect there would be diminishing returns.

Best midrange priced deadener
Decided to give this sound deadener a shot as a middle of the road priced product, just keep in mind that I bought the 2mm version for this review. So as far as application goes its straight forward, very pliable and sticky! Also be sure to clean the panels you will be applying it too. It conforms to the panel very well even on intricate parts. I also like the fact that it has a checkered print to its design, it makes cutting them to smaller patches simple as well as a guidge to know which areas have been rolled already. As far as a reduction in noise level I can't quite vouch for any changes/improvements, but I will give it the benefit of the doubt that it does help! anything on a bare metal panel will make a difference. Reason I can't vouch for it is for one that I'm not one to have my car's stereo system off to notice any rattles/noises to begin and the only noise I could hear was the annoying noise of blown speakers. I was in the process of installing some component speakers and I wanted to treat my doors to get the most out of my speakers so I honestly have no before and after results to share with you all.So the final verdict for me? I say that as a general road noise or mild vibration dampener I say for the price it can't be beat, extremely happy with my purchase. I also believe it will definitely help with the rear sound waves from door speakers especially if teamed up in conjunction with their foam liner. On a side note I also feel if you get the 5mm version dampener it would be better suited for subwoofer applications or for those excessive vibration/ road noise situations.

Good Stuff
The 2 mm sound deadner is extremely sticky and will conform to irregular services. After starting I realized there is a foil edge that permits overlapping that edge to the adjacent sheet. It would have been nice to know that before starting and also can they overlap or do they need to butt up to each piece. I just finished going through 2 boxes and getting ready to start with their recommended 6mm material. Obviously have not been on the road yet so I can't attest to there effectiveness.

Great stuff
This stuff works great, very stick easy to work with.. With the pattern it makes it easy to cut and stay straight. I had nothing inside the cab of my truck and it sounded like a tin can.. I only bought enough to do firewall, floor and roof and it quieted it up a lot. Need one more box to finish up the back of the cab.. You cant go wrong with using the Vibro mat..
