Appear Genuine and work great so far
I ordered these Xuron flush cutters to begin my new venture in wire wrapped jewelry. They appear to be genuine Xuron brand and so far work very well. The blades very slightly overlap as they should and they cut fine gauge wire flat with just a tiny bur in the middle to sand off, which is normal for any flush cutter. I haven't cut anything larger than 20 gauge wire as I want to keep them in great shape for a long as possible. I also cut wire with the bottom or middle of the blades as much as possible and only snip tiny wires with the blade tips when necessary, again to keep them in good condition. Overall great cutters and I will absolutely buy more Xuron cutters and jewelry pliers in the future!

cat.
I use this to cut my cat's claws. She does not like having her paws man-handled, so I need to do the deed quickly and accurately. These are obviously not intended as pet claw cutters, but they are so much better than any dedicated claw cutter that I've used. They are much sharper than claw cutters, which means that the claw actually gets cut instead of crunched/shredded/crinkled. They are also much smaller than typical claw cutter, which means I can be more precise about where I am cutting to avoid hurting my kitty while maximizing the amount of sharp, pointy claw that I cut away. I also own the Xuron maxi-shear flush cutter that I use for actual wire cutting. It's great for that. This one probably works fine for smaller wires, but I really like it as a kitty claw cutter.

Perfect modeling snips
These are my favorite modeling snips. Nice and thin so no much flash if any is left. Great price also.

Cuts it
I needed to trim leads off a printed circuit board and a dikes wasn't cutting it. Amazon lists a quite a few similar cutters but this one's blade-bypass feature seemed to make sense, and reviewers have given it a perfect 5 (as of Jan 2012) so this is the one I went with. I've only had to use it a few times so far, but it makes a clean cut and feels like the right tool for the job. I'd buy it again. Jan 2013: It's still 5*. I have and use both the flush cutter (410) and the tweezer-nose plier (450). They feel right and work well so I'm focused on the job instead of on the tool or on avoiding an "Oh-S#!7". Their return springs work smoothly and are tucked away where they won't pinch fingers or snatch up stray wires. The grips don't slip out of winter-dry hands and each tool seems to have a different colored set (my two have, anyway) so its quick to find the right tool (from - you know - that random pile that always seems to accumulate about an hour into the job? :)

Decent for Budget Gunpla Cutters
They do the job if you have nothing else, and pretty well at that. They certainly beat trying to slice the pieces off with a knife of just about any sort, though an exacto/art knife might work ok. Yes the blades aren't perfectly even, and if people read the packaging at all, they'd understand why. It has to do with dulling of the blades, not much else. I appreciate that these use a carbon steel, so the blades should stay sharp a lot longer. The downfall in these cutters that I see for gunpla building is that they are quite thick, so you'll find with some pieces that the blades are pressed right up against the edge because it can't squeeze between the larger runner and piece you're trying to cut. The problem with this is because these cutters do strain the plastic some, you get whitening in the plastic that isn't appealing, and if you cut too close there's little you can do to clean it up. At least if you're able to cut further from the piece you can clean it up with an exacto blade. These are great if you are on a tight budget and want to build your gunpla significantly faster and with less strain than cutting with a knife of some sort. Honestly though if you already know you're going to be really into building gunpla or similar models, and can afford the extra $15 give or take, then save yourself the hassle and buy the Tamiya cutters which should give a cleaner cut, and fit easier between the parts and runners. If you can afford even more consider the god hands, but I know a lot of people would rather not spend that much and save some for more models.

The best
These are my favorite cutters. I have purchased about 5 other pairs that all were under performers. I can get close in and they seem to be staying sharp.

Perfect for small electronics work
For years I have used a pair of dull 25 year old Craftsman wire cutters for my electronics work. However, the Craftsman cutters are bulky an work horribly for getting a close cut when trimming PCB leads. The Xuron cutters offer a very close cut and are able to trim wires up to 18awg like a hot knife through butter and to top it all off they are made in the US. Pros: Sturdy, high quality Very close and easy cuts Made in the USA Cons: As stated by the manufacturer, wires larger then 18awg don't cut as smoothly and require a bit more force

La calidad de las pinzas es de lo mejor, cortan muy bien. Solo que no dejan tan al ras como me lo imgiaba pero es más manejable y algo que una lija no pueda quitar.
