I can confirm it works with Google Streamer 4k. You can connect both power to this Chromecast and a pendrive with videos and play them

I purchased this for the PiKVM. The quality is great, works as expected, plus the soft material makes it a bit nicer, and price point is also good. Definitely recommend. If you are running into an issue where you are not getting any data flowing through, you need to make sure you are not using one of those in between power buttons. It's the extension piece that typically comes with the CanaKit that the power plugs into with the button. I spent hours trying to figure this out.

I am working on a Raspberry Pi project and needed to be able to use the USB functionality while still being able to power the device. I bought this so that I could connect it directly to my phone as well. It does the job. The power feeds just fine, the USB-C port fits nice and snug on all ends, I've been able to use this on all the devices with no issues with compatibility, and even the strength/toughness of the materials and braided lines are a huge plus, as it doesn't feel like a cheap plastic like others I've bought. Will definitely get this again if I need more or make it a standard of my project.

Works with Chromecast with Google TV. Using a Sandisk 32 Mb Cruzer USB 3.0 flash drive. Must be formatted as FAT 32. Also tried a micro.sd-2-usb adapter and the Chromecast didn't act right. Not sure if accessing "Developer mode" settings is necessary. Using VLC to play video files from the flash drive. ------ UPDATE 05.30 2024: Works with wireless mouse. For keyboard input, had to use alternative to Gboard. The mouse used to work in Bluetooth mode until the Chromecast Android upgrade.

I liked the conceived purpose, but not only did it fail to live up to that, it almost destroyed hundreds of dollars in electronics and could have burned my house down too. After unboxing I connected it to my phone which then promptly shut itself down. I unplugged it, rebooted phone and tried again; same result. I connected my charger cable (below the maximum allowed Amperes for adapter) and phone turned on and off. As soon as the phone shut down again, tendrils of white smoke began to rise from my phone and the purchased adapter. I immediately unplugged the adapter from my phone and charger. Adapter tips reached over 290°F (yes, I have an infrared thermometer and checked) after only 5-10 seconds of being plugged in. Had I not stuck around to observe this, I would have come back to find my phone melted and burning and a fire underway in my living room. This is seriously unacceptable. My phone is not functioning the same now either. Screen flickers and battery won't recharge anymore, due to soldering points that came detached in the charging port due to the intense heat delivered by this adapter. I now had to buy a new phone. Wish I had never bought this. I still can't get the electrical fire smell out of my home. I've since bought another adapter from a different manufacturer and it works perfectly, unlike the one offered here. I have returned mine for a refund, but really this seller ought to be paying for my replacement phone and smoke damage mitigation. I may speak to an attorney about this. This product is clearly not tested or inspected prior to sale and poses a catastrophic risk to your home, loved ones, and valuables. Don't buy it! It will kill your phone/tablet/laptop and very probably burn down your house.

It works exactly as it should, enabling me to record audio directly to my phone's video through the connection with a usb mixer, and allowing me to keep it charged during longer recording sessions.

This is a very capable and thus versatile USB-C splitter. It allows for many types of periferals to be connected. I didn't test if it limits data transmission rates but looked at the voltage and current which it supplied to USB DAC's. This cable provides a lower voltage than any other solution I have. Most provide around 5V but this one only provides 4.66V. On DAC's which are very power hungry it did not allow them to fully function. If you need to use this with a periferal which need 5V or 4.9V and can't operate with any lower voltage look for another solution.

May work on some things but, couldn't see a drive with it on a Galaxy A9

Super rempli bien les fonctions attendues. Fonction OTG avec clavier, souris et interface MIDI ok (avec ou sans chargeur branché sur l'USB-C). Recharge bien ma tablette Samsung A8 pendant l'utilisation du périphérique USB en OTG.

While many OTG split cables do not work, this one does!

Weil man hier nur spärlich über diese Lösung etwas im Netz liest. Als Musiker benutze ich mein Redmi Pad Pro (Android 14) als Notenmappe/Leadsheets mit Mobile sheets pro als App. Das Tablet ist hier zusätzlich mit einem OTG Kabel verbunden, das mir dann MIDI Programmwechsel-Befehl vom Keyboard bzw. Tablet ermöglicht um meine Sheets bzw. meine Registrationen umzuschalten. Gleichzeitiges Laden wäre hier normal nicht möglich, da die eine USB Buchse des Tablets mit dem OTG Kabel belegt ist. Dieses Adapter- Kabel ermöglicht gleichzeitiges Laden und eine OTG Verbindung, das heißt ich kann hier über die USB A Buchse OTG in meinem Fall MIDI Signale senden und empfangen und über die USB C Buchse gleichzeitig das Tablet laden. Im Internet sind hier nur spärliche Informationen zu finden, auch weil dies offiziell von vielen Herstellern nicht möglich bzw. verschwiegen wird. Also Daumen hoch, super Lösung.

Couldn't find any reviews and feedback regarding whether this worked with the new Google TV streamer 4K. Bought it anyway to test and I'm happy to report it works perfectly! Hopefully this will help anyone else looking for this answer :) very happy with the product
