Great read. Great memories.
Great read, I saw The Clash live on 5 occasions during their pomp. I remember a pitched battle at a concert in Derby between dozens of mischievous youngsters from Ilkeston & Derby. Richard Hell was given a hard time & when the Clash kicked in with White Riot it was absolute mayhem.Really informative book, well written with loads of laughs & funny anecdotes.Impressive bit of name dropping from the author too!

Great insight into the greatest live band ever!
Just takes you back (assuming you’re the same age as Joe S!), transporting you to last century when music was so startlingly interesting!

Arrived promptly and well packaged; and the obscene doodle in the back was very pleasing for the guy whose gift it was and added a certain something to the whole aesthetic. Wish more books would come with giant red cocks in the back. Genuinely it was a plus, not a criticism.
