Camshaft swap
Product matched up perfectly. It has been good after about an hour of test driving. Replaced phaser, shaft, lifters and rocker arms on right side of a 2012 5.4 ford motor. You can do all of this without removing the timing cover and basic tools. Just need a wedge to hold timing in place. Mark your timing chain at the timing mark on the phaser and put new phaser in exact same position. Check torque specs on your cam carriers.

Do not buy
Installed the lifters after soaking them in oil over night. Had a lifter tick from the first time I started my truck. Tan it for about 10 miles and it would not go away. Tore it back down and 11 out of the 12 on the passenger side were seized up. These are trash. Save the time and spend more for a quality part.

This is just FYI for you youguns: Tappets are not lifters, and vice versa
Both tappets, and lifters adjust the lash in the valve train. Lifters are Hydraulic, tappets are not, that's why they are called tappets, course they go, tap, tap, tap. Like my now past uncle said: Jim, if they are noisy, you know you ain't burnen your valves! IMHO, ford screwed the pooch over and over with this engine, they forgot the KISS rule.

Camshaft bearing journal
The journals on these camshaft are smaller diameter than oem camshaft but followers and lifters are correct

Defective product
So far 3 out of the 24 have failed. The first one within 10 minute's of running the truck. So all in all the top of the motor had to be tore down and reassembled 3 times to replace the bad lifters as they went bad at separate times. This has been costly and made the truck unusable during the breakdowns from defective lifters.I’m lucky to have caught it before it had a chance of doing some real damage to the motor.I highly recommend paying the extra and get OEM or you may do some irreversible damage to your motor and need a completely new motor.
