Great noodle texture
Nice bite to the noodles and the right amount of spice for this spice averse person. Tastes better than the other ramens I’ve tried.

The best ramen my taste buds can stand
The confluence of international trade, Korean/Japanese cuisine and modern world tech have produced cheap, authentic food for Americans all over the country. Case in point, this wonderful.product. Marvellously flavorful, easy to make, and highly nutritious. I may never eat another hot dog. Plenty of sodium, so if your BP is chancy, well you can't eat hot dogs either. I throw in some cubed, cooked pork tenderloins for protein, some mushrooms to balance the spice and a few scallions for color and another taste. Very little fat here, so balance it with some peanut butter or tchina at another meal. Buy the largest size box of individual packs. This stuff isn't cheap. Live in a studio? Keep the packs under your bed, they're sealed. Just keep your stash a secret, or your guests may lift a few. Now, it's labeled "mild." I've grown up with Western spicy food, and this is just tolerable. 'Shrooms and some added meat make it ok. But you've been warned

Best noodles for the price
Great product! I was surprised in one way, the noodles. These are some of the best noodles you can get in a ramen packet. I paid about $1 per packet so it is more expensive than the Maruchan or Top Ramen varieties. These also have a LOT more noodles than the cheap brands. Not only that, but the noodles themselves are at least 10 times better. They are thicker and springier(if that's a word). First time I cooked these I was so surprised how different the noodles are and how delicious they can be. If you put these noodles in a gourmet ramen restaurant bowl you would think they were worthy of a high price. The soup broth is also better than Maruchan or Top Ramen, but not that great. It needs a bit of help. Add some kimchi or lime juice for a bit of tanginess that would help it out. Overall one of the best packaged ramens out there for the price. I'm sure you can find better for a much higher price, but you'll have a very hard time finding something better for around $1 for a 4 ounce packet(I paid $19 for 18 packets).

Delicious, but high in sodium
My family absolutely loves Jin ramen! We ordered the mild. The only issue is it’s 85+% of daily sodium intake, but we reduced the amount of season packet used and it still tasted really good. I gave it 4stars cause it’s super high in sodium. I didn’t realize how much sodium, ate 1 packet three days in a row then went to the doctors and my blood pressure skyrocketed. When I stopped eating the ramen, blood pressure went back to normal, just something to keep in mind if you have heart issues.

Yum!
These arrived today and I'm really happy with the taste, after having purchased this in addition to another brand (which wasn't good and the cooked noodles were discarded). WOW what a difference! Here's how I made these: recipe calls for 550 ML (2.35 Cups) but I used ~half of that. Placed the contents of the Veggie Pack into the water, brought to a boil, added the Noodles and Soup Base and removed them after 2 minutes, not 3 as the recipe calls for (ramen noodles continue to cook in the broth and I hate mushy noodles). The verdict: these are delicious, chewy noodles with a nice flavor and heat (these aren't MILD unless you're like me and have other SPICY Korean Ramen to compare it to; these are "comparatively" Mild so use less of the Soup Base if you want truly mild noodles. These are a bit salty, but adding more water, in my opinion, would have ruined the texture of the noodles, as they quickly absorb all of the broth in your bowl. I bought this brand because I asked my favorite Korean Chefs on YouTube, Aaron and Claire, what their favorite ramen brand was, and they said "Jin Ramen", though in Seoul, I think the favorite is always super spicy. The expiration date for these is May 2021, and the price is very high but worth the one time splurge for 18 packs @$21.99 if you love good ramen. IF the price comes down for these, I'd buy them again. PS: As a proper ramen addict, I have Samyang, 3 flavors of Indomie, Paldo Jjajangmen and Gomtang, Prima Taste Laksa Coconut Curry, Maruchan (blah), and these. And since receiving Jin Ramen, I've abandoned all of the others because these are that good!

Best Everyday Ramen!
This is my favorite, go-to Ramen. It has a nice taste and flavor. My grandchildren like to fix it for lunch, and they frequently add extra ingredients to give it extra punch. Sometimes they add spices, peppers, meat, etc. Anything that suits their fancy. Honestly, they make it better than I do. It's a household staple for us, and we can even use it as a dinner course. It's a great addition to any pantry.
