Great protection for a trail boss. Maybe overkill for a utilitarian axe, but outstanding quality and excellent fit. Protects the axe, my fingers and the car interior.

Great kydex sheath for a great axe!
I purchased the Cold Steel Trail Boss axe to carry in my vehicle for emergancies. I looked at several leather axe sheaths for it but then saw the kydex sheath that your fine company makes. I ordered it and after using it for a while I have concluded that for my puposes this is the perfect axe sheath! I have a bunch of axes, all with leather sheaths and they work OK, but this sheath is absolutely bullet proof. It can get wet with no damage and take a real beating and so you could stow this on an ATV, a pickup bed or tractor or a cold shed or barn. I will purchase more kydex for my axes in the future.
