Perfect for young children
Carving this year was awesome for my 10 and 6 year old grandchildren. They both used these tools safely to carve pumpkins. It was a game changer!!!! They held up well after carving several pumpkins.

Good for kids, but once time use with kids
Great idea and it worked great for my adult family. Then my 8 year old kid did cravings with his friends and they destroyed the set. Just not very durable. The little mallet with rather worthless, but that is ok, I had my own. Again, it was worth the money, but it won't survive too many seasons. I think one of the pieces was broke when it arrived.

Cheap materials
The plastic handled tools are the only thing worth a darn in this kit. The wood handled tools are pretty cheap and feel like they could snap at any moment. They might be good for clay, but not really a pumpkin. The lights are total crap. They are incredibly cheap and lightweight. One out of 3 I turned on doesn’t work.

Candles
Candles didn’t work, tools were strong but didn’t work as I wanted. Came with a cool tool bag, will use again next year
