High quality and powerful motor.
I am very impressed with this G4 scooter. It has a 10" air filled tires on both the front and the backside. It looks pretty big and when I stand on it I feel much taller. The view while riding was pretty awesome as well. The 350 watts motor provides a very high torgue but maintains a low power consumption. It can easily goes to about 18 to 20 miles within a few seconds. When you hold the hand break it will activite both e-ABS braking and disc braking system. I also like its headlight feature as it's very bright at night. I took my dog with me while riding the scooter around my neighborhood. He was able to run while I was cruising on it. The scooter also has a lock which I used when I rode it to the grocery near my house. I can simply lock it to the grocer's bike section while I was inside doing my groucery run. The only minor obstacle is you will need to unlock the scooter each time when you start but it's acceptable to me. In my opinion it is for my benefit and safety that it won't get stolen since the only person who can unlock this is me. If the password is incorrectly the scooter will start its anti-theft feature by sounding the alarm and blinking its headlight. That is a plus in my eye.

Not the safest way to get around
It seems like a nice sturdy scooter, it does go 20mph no problem, although when you take off from a dead stop, the scooter can’t go from a dead stop, you must roll it and kick off to let it know you are riding it then you press the throttle and nothing happens so you press it again until it takes off. This can be anywhere from 2-4 tries of the throttle before it lets you ride. The brakes are week, it just seems like kind of unsafe to be riding this scooter when you need to come to a stop with very little space to stop, it will be very hard and may not stop and could get you hit by another vehicle or maybe run into a person, you never know what situation you’ll run into where you might need to apply brakes quickly. Likewise, you never know when it will engage the throttle when taking off, so if there is a busy street you need to cross and just need to cross real quick, there’s no promise of throttle engaging right away, leaving looking ridiculous trying to push start your scooter while halfway in the middle of the road with cars coming, not to mention the possibility of getting hit that way. For these reasons alone, I would definitely stray away from scooters like this or especially cheaper scooters. You definitely get what you pay for in this situation. This scooter is advertised to have a 25 mile range and Ive heard a lot of people say it only get 15 miles before it dies and I was optimistic and thought, “im sure it gets more than 15 miles, it clearly says 25!” Wrong, weighing 130 pounds with no backpack, no jacket, nothing but myself, I was able to get 10 miles going about 15mph through my town (no hills)(no wind) and I ended up getting 12.5 miles going an average speed of 9-10 mph. If this is truly the very best you can afford and even then it seems like a lot of money, then maybe get this. But if you could spare the extra couple few hundred dollars and opt for a better brand, you can find apt of much higher quality scoots for $1000> as opposed to the few selections you have for < $500. Safety is my number one priority, and if I don’t feel safe on something like this, I can’t use it at all. Returned.

NOT as described. Only had the scooter 3 days and will be returning it. You get 10 miles not 25
Lets start off with the most important part, the rage. The range is NOWHERE NEAR 25 miles. I literally got 10.2 miles before the low battery mode kicked in. I started in level 1 for the first part of my commute then switched to level 2 during the long straight parts. My commute is as flat as humanly possible, with very slight slopes with no major hills. The wind was at my back on the way home as well. I can not accept the range of this unit being less than half of what is advertised. I fully charged the battery every time I have ridden the scooter.Next lets talk about the dual breaking system. On the website the graphics show a front and rear break. This to me would be the dual breaking system they advertise, however it is not. The Scooter comes with only 1 rear disc brake and it does not provide enough stopping power. Also having a break only on the back is awful for the life of the rear tire. The engine slows the scooter when coasting causing a rapid loss of speed but this is not a breaking system it is more of an inconvenience. The cable lock, it is a nice idea but it doesn't like to retract, After only 3 days of owing the scooter it has already began to stick and stop retracting. Finally, on flat ground with no wind, the scooter started having issues getting up to 20 MPH it would get 18 for a few seconds then slowly climb to 20. Also, the throttle seems to not be as responsive as it was on day 1, keep in mind this is only day 3.Overall I wish the manufacturer was honest about the product they are selling. Quite frankly I find their practice of deceptive marketing very distasteful. Since this is supposed to be a commuter scooter, the range advertised should be closer to a real-world setting. Also when they say dual breaks, and show dual breaks, but do not provide you with dual brakes, I would call that a blatant lie.Avoid this unit if you need it for your commute as it is not up to the task. If you want a scooter to ride around for fun and don't care what your range is then this scooter is fine for you.

Screen is just stuck with 56.5 miles per hour, I can't even turn off the scooter. And the throttle doesn't do anything.Update:As this scooter is kind of heavy and I was too lazy to carry it all the way to the post office, I decided to mess around with it instead of returning it.I took it apart and messed with the cords. Turns out the cpu/board was glitched. After I disconnected a wire on the underside of the scooter (pic 7), the screen turned off and I was able to "reset" the cpu as that cord disconnected the power to the cpu. Turns out that fixed my problem. However, my brand new scooter, that I received literally four hours ago, now has 240 miles on it.Anyways, on to the actual review, the scooter is well built. It feels very sturdy. However, with the sturdiness, comes balkiness. This scooter feels too heavy to actually be portable. Also the lack of suspension is kind of hurting my knees. Thus, I think that it isn't an ideal daily commuter. For a daily, I would get something with a little less power as I don't feel that you need to go over 25km/h. Therefore, the scooter can be lighter and portable. Also suspensions are a must, especially if you live in Canada with potholes everywhere and especially if you value your knees.

Works great and is fun to boot
Edit - After a few months of riding here is my updated review.-Brakes do not last. Have had to adjust (tighten) them about 3 or 4 times now. They are starting to squeal something fierce when applied now. Definitely, not hard on them and have not used them enough to justify them having to be replaced already. I'm, also, only about 165 lbs so well under the max recommended limit (220 lbs)-Recently have had power issues. When I haven't rode it in a day or longer I find this happens most often. I power it on and enter my code. Seems to be all good but when I try to get going and press the throttle I get no response. I have to power down wait for about 10-20 seconds and then power back on. Some times one power down is fine sometimes it takes a few tries. Occasionally, when I stop at a stop sign or lights I have a similar issue, with power loss. I contacted the seller and told them of my situation(s). The first two people I described my issue to told me it sounded like a manufacturing issue and I should go though warranty for an exchange. When I contacted the warranty department they dismissed my issue as user error. (They told me I need to boost it although I told them I run start and it still does it, they seemed to just dismiss that part of my description).-Other functions seem to all be in good order. Folding lock holds well and has given me no indication of coming loose or failing. Headlights, locks (both digital and padlock) work and do their job. The padlock type lock is a great addition, I really didn't think I would use but I have several times. My gripe with it, is it could use a little more length. If you are connecting to a bike rake it works well but if you are unable and need a tree or something a little larger or you can't get right up against the line is a bit short. The digital display lock is also a good function. I have had a few people try to ride it, (not steal but just wanted to test it) but without the code it locks the wheels and the lights flash and beep. Base is large so plenty of room to stand without feeling cramped. For a 5'8" tall person the handlebar height is also positioned comfortable. Wheels seem to be holding up well, no chunks, pops or damage noticeable. Roads are terrible, potholes, rocks and other debris are a constant issue, but the wheels seem to be able to take the abuse without issue.-Can get a pretty good run on a charge. I would estimate a little under 20 miles per charge. As I said I'm about 165 lbs and I only run on speed 2. Takes a few hours to charge from low power. So far I haven't noticed any battery loose but I think the winter store will be the big test. Trust me though, you don't want to get stranded without power, so plan your trip accordingly. Yes, you can push without power but it get's tiring very quickly and not as easy as you would think. I spent about 10 minutes (yes only 10 minutes and I'm not out of shape) just pushing myself around a parking lot just to test and I was wiped out completely.I am still having a lot of fun riding about, when things function properly. However, I would not recommend this product as the seller does not seem to want to back their warranty, and simply blame the buyer for mistakes.**************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************Needed something to commute to and from school/work. Out of the box it was easy to set-up, learn about functions and ride. First time trying I thought might have some learning curve but it was so easy to get going. I wasn't sure how comfortable I'd be at top speeds but it feels like you have complete control all the time. Recommends to not ride on wet conditions but I thought I would see in a parking lot. DO NOT ride in the wet, the wheels will slip out suddenly, believe the warning. I bought it for the need for commuting but it is a lot of fun to just toot around on as well. Highly recommend if you require a basic mode of transportation. My only real complaint is that it is in MPH and not KPH but when you are riding you rarely look at the display anyways, so not a big deal for me.

Luckily it comes with the front tire ready to add a another disk brake and even screw holes on the till to adapt a braking caliper mount.I HIGHLY encourage you to get and install another brake at the front wheel (a Xiaomi M365 brake system or similar will do). Although, you should understand this your ultimate decision, and is between two devils:1. Ride as is with the rear only and you certainly may hit something or worst, someone in a full emergey stop. Plus don't want to be downhill at 32km/h or more (yes, it reaches 45km/h down, tested) if that only brake it has fail.2. Add a front disk. This will help you braking in an emergency, but it may also catapult the inexperience driver if de front tire blocks or fall to the road if it blocks and is slippery. IMO It does feels and rides closer to a small 50cc motorbike experience than an electric bicycle. Me personally, I need another brake. One last thing, always wear PPE while riding this. It is dangerously fast, and less stable than a bike to get a serious life threating injuries and false sense of confidence builds up quickly as you ride. I would recommend full face downhill bike helmets, or motorbike ones.Enjoy the ride and respect others sharing your path!EDIT1:I am having issues that affect riding.I'm thinking in returning it, but actually considering a repurchase if I do. It is honestly fantastic to commute in one of this, but after riding it more, I started to noticed like bumps where it should not, specially while on smooth roads. After a closer look the at wheels, I identified that the rear rim is causing this. One side of the rim, is extremely unbalanced while the other side is smooth. I have tightened all bolts in the unbalanced side, some were little bit loose. But that didn't fix the issue. I think these rims are assembled in halves, so the if you get a flat you could easily replaced the tire by opening the rim in two. In that kind of rim construction may be the problem. Is a pity, because other than that, it does feel sturdy and well built with plenty of possibilities.EDIT2:Ok, I was curious about how that unbalanced happened in the rim. Usually CNC machines that manufacture that motors should not present that huge deviations. So instead tighten the screws this time, I did the opposite. While loosing the screws one by one, suddenly air begun to escape from the tire. I thought, this is odd, these aren't tubeless tires. Why the air is going out?I ended up opening up the rim and the inner rubber camera tube was pinched and squeezed between the two halves of the rim!!! To the point of making a huge rip on the rubber but since it was closed by the screws this contained the air inside.Honestly, I think I was lucky that this didnt explode on me while riding it. This is a huge safety concern, I cannot imagine what would may happened to me or other person which received this scooter if not checked long, but nothing good. I think, like with other vehicles, these scooters should have more tighten quality controls and may end with government manufacturing regulations which I welcome. After all, I'm going to keep it, I'm fixing the tube with a bike patch now, and perhaps looking for solid tires in the near future. Please examine the whole scooter in detail before start riding it. Not only tight all the screws but take a look at the riding quality. It's clear to me where Gotrax (as a rebrand of a Chinese product) is cutting the cost by lacking more quality controls. Still thinking the product is fine, but I'll edit this again if I got more surprises.3 stars for now.
