This thermometer is easy to use and appears to be accurate.

Great thermometer, but no shut off button.
We grill, smoke, & cook meats often and how quick this was to give us a reading was great! Does not get hot at the handle, like several others do. Did have to hold button down a few seconds to change from Celsius to Fahrenheit. Clean up was a breeze with just wiping with a soft dish rag. Only downside we noticed is no shut off button. I did not make any candy to test this thermometer, just cook/grill/bake/smoke meats often. I did get this at a discounted rate in exchange for an honest & unbiased review.
