BATVOXBark Collar 2 Pack Rechargeable No Harm Dog Barking Collar with Vibration, Sound and No Shock for Small Medium Large Dogs (2020 Upgraded)

I purchased the 2 BATVOX bark collars for 2 of my dachshunds. The instructions were easy to follow, set up was only a few minutes after I made sure both of the collars were charged completely. I placed one on each of my dachshunds and the vibration and sound quiets them after their first bark. Interestingly funny, even if one of my dogs barks near my other one, both collars alarm! The box had what appeared to be a key fob in it which I do not know what it is for. No instructions were given on it. The other problem is since this collar fits "small, medium and large dogs", there was extra length on the collar I didn't know what to do and was tired of wrapping the excess around the collar itself. I decided to cut the extra length of band off for ease of use. I found out the band began to fray. :-( I guess I will take a lighter to the end so it will not fray any longer. With that being said, I would still highly recommend it!

Description said these collars were "no shock," but, when received, I found the settings have an option for shock. I returned the item and ordered a different brand. This, returned, order, was my second set. The first set was no shock as described, and worked well until my very determined boy managed to remove his collar (two times, thus killing both collars) and destroyed the collars. I was initially skeptical that bark prevention collars would work with my dogs, but was surprised to find that it was a good deterrent. They still barked, but less. One of my dogs, having worn the collar daily for a month, no longer barks much at all, even without the anti-bark collar. My other guy, though, still needs the collar to remind him.

I purchased a set of two for my one year old shihtzus. They are not a constant barking type of dog they just don’t know when to stop when people knock on the door and come inside. So I bought these to go off when they bark. They do not have long coats but iOS have thick hair and it is maybe an inch and a half long. The device did not pick up any sounds of barking or whining within 24 hours of them wearing the collars. Even after testing it out on my arm at different levels it worked when I was blowing into the sensor but not when the dogs would bark. I also tried it on the dogs fastened loose and snug around their necks and nothing. I sent them back and got refunded so that I could purchase a different set. Also the picture indicates a lady holding a remote sitting in the grass with her dog. I should have read further but I did not see any details on whether or not that was A remote to the collars, instead it’s just a little plastic thing that clicks when you push on it it’s to distract them it doesn’t have anything to do with the collars.

These are really a hit or miss product for dogs. Some respond well to them and some just bark like "is that all you got?" Which is when it is time to upgrade to more invasive collars. These are considered kinder collars as they just beep and vibrate. I wish there were more color options to differentiate them apart so you can differentiate them apart. like I purchased 4 but the clips that go in the collars for color are orange, blue, and black so I found a collar strap that fit that was a different color so I could tell the 2nd blue apart. So a variety of color clips would be nice otherwise. I can't complain. They do sometimes give false corrections when using with multiple dogs so go all in and collar all dogs at once. They are not super sensative so a dog needs to be near another for the false correction. Sensitivity is very flexible and not set off by a loud voice unless you set it that sensative. As a more humane option to stop barking, I like these and purchased 2 sets.

I like that it works fairly well to prevent my dogs from barking. You're not shocking them either, which is awesome!

It works as a deterrent to barking for my loudmouth Scottish terrier, and it does consistently go off when she barks. The problem is it frequently also goes off when she’s not barking - if she scratches at it, wrestles with the other dog, the other dog barks, or there’s if any other loud noise, she gets corrected. Unusable as a training tool.

This thing seems to work. When my dog is wearing the collar, he barks once, then shakes his head and doesn't bark again. I have it set on the lowest sensitivity setting and both sound and vibration turned on. The one thing I don't like is the neck band. It slides too easily through the plastic "keepers" (I don't know what to call them), with the result that the neck band works loose. There are many ways I can fix this myself, but I do consider it to be a design defect. Other than that, this device seems to be well made and I expect it to be durable.

It came with a box of 2 plus an additional collar to choose from! I did a quick read through of the instructions, which were VERY easy to understand, and put the collar on my dog.A few minutes after putting the collar on him a neighbor came knocking at the door. Instead of non-stop barking like normal, my little guy barked 2-3 times then stopped and walked away confused because of the vibrations! This collar seems to be a win in my book!I did not want to get a collar that would shock because my little guy only weighs 8 pounds but has the shrillest bark I have ever heard. Thankfully this collar is doing its job without causing my baby any harm!!

The different settings are hard to read and once you get the light codes you set it anywhere from 1-4 and your dog can be barking its nuts off and it will not go off.You jump to 5 and again very exporadict but then you set it to 6 and even a car passing by a mile away will set it off making it extremely annoying for your dogs who get annoyed and extremely sad because any noise at all will make it feel like they did something wrong.After a week your dogs get used to the noise and treat the buzzing/vibrating collar as a simple nuisance and keep on barking their nuts off.

Would not reccomend each of our dogs were able to set the other dogs collar off when the collars decided to work. Collars shut off on their own when fully charged waste of money

It is really useful!I love it and my dog hates it lol.It worked from day 1. I not longer worry about my dog barking and my neighbours complaining. The battery lasts quite a while.

they will only get our dogs attention when set on the highest level, our youngest Golden was able to play with it enough that she loosened the strap until she could start chewing on it, and although it still works, it no longer phases her and therefor has been rendered useless. our older Golden is freaked out by it and cowards under the patio table after it goes off, so we can no longer use it on him, and it is not fair to the seller to ask for a refund because the one has been slightly damaged. so we are looking at it as a lesson learned
