Ermanno Scervino For Women Eau de Parfum

One of my favourites, It has a long lasting fragrance and isn’t overpowering.

Blind Bought this on the strength of the positive reviews and I like the other perfume they do in the same bottle wth green lid called Tuscan Emotion.This smells like gone off perfume mixed with hairspray on me. The initial burst has a strange note at odds with the others, which I think is the chocolate.It's got that overly buttery, gardenia type smell on me in the dry down, followed by the prominent hairspray smell. Now it smells like it has gone off.There are plenty of other, more reasonably priced rose & other floral perfumes around that in my opinion are far superior to this one.Maybe it just doesn't suit me. I find it unpleasant.

Like most perfumes, the value for money is much better with a larger pack. However, my wife felt this one was very much in the territory of “try before you buy”.“This will not be on my Christmas list, but I will use it now and again. I wear perfume everyday even if I am not going out as it makes me feel good about myself – probably many women feel the same way.I don’t like the initial top hit; it is strong and overly floral. The middle notes which come through after a while are far more subtle and slightly , which I prefer; i It settles down and the warmth of the perfume comes through far better in my opinion. The base notes are a lighter version of the middle notes and are more woody I think.The blurb goes into rhapsodies about the packaging. I liked the perspex cap, which is a very lovely red oval, reminiscent of a large ruby on the top of the bottle; it finishes it off, making it looks expensive, and I will admit it looks good on my dressing table as the light hits it. There were two other aspects I was less impressed with:-The ribbon is a bit of a pain. They make a thing about it being a "precious material" but all it does when you spray yourself is to get in the way of the EDP coming out of the nozzle. You have to make sure that the ribbon is held down out of the way otherwise it just sprays onto the organdie ribbon instead of you. I will probably just take the ribbon off soon as it is fairly annoying. The ribbon is attached to the bottle via two silver coloured loops that it is fed through and then tied into a bow. To be honest I am not sure why they are there, as they just hold the ribbon, which could have just been just tied around the neck.-The cardboard box it arrived in does look like fabric, as claimed, but as it will be discarded it does not really make it feel artisanal with "the profound sense of luxury". It's a cardboard box.”After hearing my wife’s comments, I asked her if this was the sort of perfume a man would buy a woman on the strength of the packaging, and she agreed.

I'd not heard of this particular brand of perfume before, but was delighted to be able to test it out.Comes in the usual box and fancy packaging that you'd expect from a designer brand and the bottle is a good size with a well fitting lid. I got rid of the ribbon around the top though, it just gets in the way of the spray and is annoying!It's a really lovely scent, quite heady and musky and a couple of sprays lasts for most of the day.It's interchangeable for night or day wear, and is certainly not heavy, and also not floral at allWould make a lovely gift

This perfume has a wonderful warm scent that lasts.The musky tones emerge over time. The packaging is beautiful and the bottle is pretty and quite heavy which I like.

My first thoughts when viewing the packaging is that it seems a little old-fashioned. I wasn’t aware of the brand but have since discovered it’s an Italian clothing brand stocked by Harrods. The bottle is generous in size and it has a 3 year lifespan once opened. I am not keen on the material around the neck of the bottle, I think it cheapens the look and is better without. To me it’s an intense floral fragrance, a little strong for me and more suited to an evening out rather than an everyday fragrance. I wouldn’t say this is a young person’s fragrance either due to its strong floral intensity. Overall it’s very floral and strong which isn’t to my personal taste.

This eau de parfum has a nice subtle floral smell that isn’t overpowering and it lasts! Impressed and would recommend.

The Ermanno Scervino Perfume for women is very smartly designed perfume bottle that is clear coloured with a bright red topper.The perfume is musky but not overly so and brings with it a fresh uplifting freshness when used.It is on the more expensive side for perfume but if the person you buy it for likes it,then fair enough.
