A Close Shave!
As a safety razor user for many years, this is probably the best I have ever used! It offers a very mild shave but also gives a super close cut. The handle has a nice heavy weight to it and so far seems to be very well built. Highly recommended!

Changed the shaving experience for me entirely
Best shave and closest shave I used all of the other options out there but the single blade is so much more consistent as well as helps me prevent ingrown hairs also blades are simple to change

It is bad ass!!
I ran across this by accident. I didn't even know they still made double edged razor blades! I've been using the cheap "multi blade" throw aways for decades now. I ran across these, bought it and found what I'd been missing. MUCH less razor burn / break outs. Great shave and I've already figured out it will be a LOT cheaper than the throw aways.

Good...
Keep in mind that I have very sensitive skin... This is a good razor but not the most gentle.Swapping the included blades with Astra blades helped but my skin prefers a more gentle razor.

Really good handle, best paired with Astra blades.
About three weeks ago I dropped my second Art of shaving (AoS) safety razor handle while staying at a family members causing it to break at the screw piece. So I reluctantly looked for a replacement (still wish I could repurchase my AoS handle a third time regardless).I normally paired the AoS handle with a Van Der Hagen stainless steel blade and that was good enough for me, the Gillette blades that handle came with gave me really bad razor burn. Now, as for the Plow 2.0. The head is practically the same, though AoS had a little more edge to edge coverage on each side from what I recall (might be because I used a different blade on the AoS handle that might've been slightly wider), the handle was a tad bit shorter and slightly thicker on the AoS razor. The Plow 2.0 has a long thin textured matte black finish brass handle that took a little getting used to at first though had a decent grip, it has a zinc head also with a matte black finish. The handle actually had a decent bit of heft to it, I normally would've paired the Van Der Hagen blade with this handle but I decided try out Astra superior platinum blades as I already figured the included Manscaped blades would probably be garbage and I was curious about trying a different blade than my usual. The head was easy to clean out with the reservoir openings even with the length of stubble I was shaving off.I had about 2 ½ to 3 weeks worth of long stubble on my neck and upper cheek since my last shave (about 3 to 4mm), I applied Nivea sensitive shave gel around my neck, wet the razor and went from the top of my Adams apple and went down across my jawline, anything left under my jawline is what I clean up, generally this is where I shave up against the grain since I like a very clean, baby smooth neck. The Plow 2.0 paired with the Astra blade cleaned it all up nicely on the first pass and left me surprised when checking my neck for areas with little raised hairs ..I actually had none to need a second pass. I finished shaving my neck and upper cheek in less than 10 minutes including wetting my neck and applying the shave gel. I had no nick/cuts, nor do I feel any ounce of razor burn or micro stubble. Now I wonder how my AoS handle would've been like with the Astra blades because after this pairing I think I got a good moneys worth for an excellent shave. I paid $50 altogether for the Plow 2.0 and a box of 100 Astra blades

This is the first Manscaped product I've bought also the first safety razor I have owned, I've used some before. Love the design very sleek, Also the handle fits perfectly in my hands, I'm a tall guy so I got some rather large hands. The finish on it is nice, Not damaged whatsoever. Cheaper than using normal razors especially if paired with the cost of 100ct safety razors! Using it came very naturally to me, not much difference than using a normal razor.I will update if anything changes, But so far I'm impressed with the quality and design. Would recommend if your in the market for a new safety razor or looking for a gift for that special person in your life!

Worthy of comparisons to other DE razors
I have more than a hundred (!) DE razors, not to mention a few straight razors and cartridge razors as well. I made the move to DE razors around 2010, with a desire to have less redness and closer shaves. So far, the “experiment” has paid off immeasurably - albeit with the realization that excellent prep (soap/face) is highly predictive of shave quality, with blade/razor choices important - but not always indicative of the outcome. With all that being said, I recognized, around 2019, that the RazoRock Lupo had become my clear favorite DE razor, allowing me the most widespread choice of blades while delivering the most comfortable (for me) shaves, every time.Well, I have to acknowledge that “The Plow” - which is ostensibly based on a Merkur or related tool - is totally knocking it out of the park for me.There is ample blade exposure here, but moreso, blade gap. It shaves well, and sharp, and totally comfortable. I’ve used Bic Astor, Feather, and Kai, as well as the blades that came with the razor (Merkur???). The heavy, thin handle - which is steady and propelling even with soap slickness - makes me feel secure with every shave. Crazily, I can’t find anything wrong with this razor and its blade combos, and I shave in cold water with amazing soaps (Nancy Boy is my favorite) and the occasional use of pre-shave formulae (Grooming Co). My beard is ROUGH and grows at multiple angles, requiring many angles…but the PLOW really does the job better than…get this…anything in my ample collection.Again, there might be other factors at play here. I am a better DE shaver than I was 3, 5, 10 years ago…and yet, I just find this razor to give me the best shave possible, with no irritation, and seriously close shaves. Will it happen for you? I don’t know, but right now, it’s the only razor in my line of usage.
