Winsor & NewtonPromarker, Set of 24, Mixed Marker Set

I decided to buy this set of 24 Winsor & Newton ProMarkers as a birthday gift for myself. I have MANY markers and pens but none of them work as well as these ProMarkers. I was surprised to see how smoothly they covered the paper I was using for a retro art project! I started filling in the large blocks around the outside edge of the design with Tombow markers but as you can see from the image attached, they left streaky looking color sections. The blocks on the left side (purple, tan, turquoise and purple) were filled in with Tombow markers. But the blocks on the right (blue,green, red, orange) were filled in with the ProMarkers. I used the chisel tip to fill in the larger areas quickly and the fine point tip for the small areas and corners. I was so surprised to see how the ink dried so smoothly with no visible streaky lines! The paper was just plain white card stock.I love the color choices and variety of markers in the 24-marker set. 12 promarkers, 6 promarker brush, 3 promarker metallic and 3 promarker neon! And the black zippered storage bag is quite unique. Inside, the markers are stored in small sections of three-markers each. And these sections can be propped up and attached to a Velcro base, so they are easy to grab when working on a project. And the colors are a joy... so vivid, and they have fun names, like "Duck Egg" blue. I am very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend them to anyone working on illustration, design, card-making and scrap booking.

I love the packaging on the pro markers. They also sit up what I have notice is that one of them is a bit scratchy and did not work as good. I love the mix of colors.

Bought these for my daughter- she absolutely loves using them. Great results. Watercolor like effects can be achieved with blending colors!

It's great right off the bat. The Marcus come with its own case and everything looks really good, however the markers within about a month starting to fade and now I can only use a little bit of them. If you can afford it I will just go for Copic markers because they are refillable. However these are a great starter for people trying to learn how to use these kind of markers.

The variety of colors and tips is great. The ink flows onto paper nicely.

I really like how these markers flow since I color a lot and I like this set a lot with the different variety of markers in this set.

The markers took long to get hear. There my new favorite markers now. I'm glad I got them.

Great selection of colors. There are different brush tips too. I found it easy to make complimentary combinations.Doesn't blend smoothly as I hoped, though the red marker applies more solid than other colors. Here's a tip (yes, pun intended): if you want a smoother blend, don't lift up your marker. Be see my photo to see the difference between lifting the pen versus non lifting.I bought these pens for my sketchbook and it bled through. The paper was 165 gsm/111 lb. I'm planning to use these markers to single papers instead to prevent any heartbreak with sketchbook bleeds.Overall I do recommend this set, but would try other marker brands to achieve a more smooth blend.
