Would stay connected to my phone for a few seconds and then freeze. Would sometimes reconnect and repeat the same cycle. Used Best Buy rewards points to get a Polar H7 and couldn't be happier with it.

One star for the product. Five stars for Amazon.
I followed the instructions and installed a Duracell 3.28V CR2032 battery and the device intermittently paired with both an iPhone and iPad. On the plus side, Amazon didn't want me to ship it back and issued a credit immediately. Amazon gets 5 stars. This product gets 1 star.

alright
Great for the price. We got 2 and they both are finiky. You have to adjust a few times and re-wet the sensors a couple of times before they work. You also have to change the battery that it comes with to a new one.

amazing value for a bluetooth smart (4.0) HRM
I really don't understand the bad reviews. This thing is a steal for $7.95. Even though it had 1 star reviews, I figured if the HRM part sucked, I would still have a spare strap to use with my other HRM's. I have a Garmin, Pyle, and Scosche HRM's. For less than the cost of a replacement strap for a name brand HRM, you get a fully functional BT LE HRM. This HRM held up in comparison tests with my name brand devices. The reading was quite stable during a 2 hour bike ride, with no dropouts. Unlike some of my other HRM's, which give erroneously high heart rates during the start of a workout, this one gave stable readings. Some of my other HRM's also occasionally spike up to erroneous readings during a workout. The Mobility rev gave stable readings throughout. The range is quite impressive, too. I was able to get a stable reading 40ft away from my iPhone 6, even indoors. The strap is of similar design and quality to the one that comes with the Polar H7. For the price of the Polar strap, you could buy 2 of these Mobility Rev HRM's.One missing feature: this HRM only outputs heart rate, so if you want to use it to analyze HRV, you're out of luck... it doesn't output R-R intervals.Update: I think the others who are complaining that it dies or doesn't connect consistently are just suffering from dead/weak batteries. I thought mine was dead on the 3rd day of use, and was about to change my review to 1 star. I tried several new batteries, which didn't work, and then finally found one that works perfectly. This device seems to need a higher voltage than other devices, so it needs fresher batteries. The one that's working perfectly has an open circuit voltage of 3.25V, while another one that reads 3.21V doesn't.

Works ... when it works
Out of a 3-pack one worked reliably.

Waste of money
Waste of money, I would not recommend this product to anyone. It rarely connects and when it does not stay connected. There is a reason why its so cheap in price.

just doesn't work
First one failed after six sessions; replacement failed on second used. They just either die or stop transmitting - either way it's useless. Walk away!!
