Great combination of performance, features and price
The Raythor Pro GEN S2 Golf Rangefinder is a great tool to have in your golf arsenal, whether you are just beginning to play golf or have been playing for a while. What I found really appealing was the excellent usability and application in the field. The rangefinder is simple and straightforward to use. It tells you exactly what you need to know to land your ball right on target. Accuracy is provided in most rangefinders. However, this offers a flagpole lock indicator which confirms I have the right target detected (the flagpole and not the tree behind the green) as well as a mode (Mode 2) which incorporates slope compensation technology. This takes the incline/decline of the hole into consideration and offers both an adjusted reading as well as the unadjusted. Without the adjustments you'd come up short on uphill shots and long on downhill. If you are looking to stay legal within USGA rules (without slope compensation features), you can simply toggle to Mode 1. I play casually with friends and am working to lower my overall score so I prefer Mode 2, at least for now.In terms of its physical characteristics, the rangefinder is lightweight but substantial. I would have liked the rubber to be thicker for a more "grippy" feel but that is personal preference. The shape allows for a comfortable grip and the white/red/black combination is attractive. It comes with a padded carrying case along with a wrist loop that can be threaded through on the bottom of the front of the rangefinder. A USB cord is included, the charge time is quick, and I barely made a dent in the battery life after a full round of golf.In all, this device is accurate, quick at dialing in your distances, and is lightweight to carry around in your golf bag. It offers the features of higher priced rangefinders without sacrificing quality or technology. Solid find.

Great quality, great price
The media could not be loaded. I have been using their first gen rangefinder for couple weeks now and needless to say it has been working great for me. I recently received this newer model which is definitely a good rangefinder.Design: the look of the white and red pops which makes the product look and function great. The top and bottom part has rubber gripping which allows to comfortably grip the rangefinder. There also seems to be a screw in at the bottom allowing for people to mount via bipod or Tripod.Device: the device itself works very well and is very accurate to maybe +\-1 or 2 yards of at further distances. The neat thing about this rangefinder is that there is a switch to enable and disable factoring in slope which is very helpful on most courses. They have made this device also tournament legal which is also a plus. For the price of the rangefinder and the quality it is definitely worth the buck. It also has constant scanning which allows you to see distances continuously as you are moving. My advice: I mean there is not much I can say about the rangefinder besides it works great. The one thing I might suggest which isn’t really necessary is to implement a strong magnet to attach to the railing of carts for golfers that cart. It would be easier to access.

Work fine, great price.
I was skeptical when I ordered these. However, now that I have used them on the course, they work great. I can't imagine paying four or five times as much for one of the big name brands.

A favorite feature is the vibration when the unit locks on the pin.
I had first generation Raythor Laser Rangefinder (Sport Pro). I was very please with that and it did everything I expected of it. I recently purchased this 2nd Generation Raythor as it has a function to turn the physical slope feature off and on. That feature is nice in practice rounds but not legal for tournament play. When turned on there is a red indicator light when the laser is operating and the adjusted distance shows below the laser distance on the display screen thru the eyepiece. When turned off, the light stays off and there is no adjusted distance in the display. The vibration in the mode 2 alerts you that the laser locked on the pin and the yardage is displayed. Very reassuring.Sadly, our golf courses are closed due to Covid, so I have yet to actually use it in play, but my trying it at home together with my experience with the previous model tells me this is a winner.

Generally Accurate - Easy to use
This is my first range finder, so can’t compare. I have found it to be accurate for the most part. On occasion, it offers a range that doesn’t make sense. I have a GPS app that I also use and will have to double check on occasion. It is easy to use and use it now regularly for most shots, but have to maintain a level of course awareness for those handful of times it gives a false reading. It was reasonably priced compared to the name brands and very pleased with it.

Works great!
I really like this unit. Beats pacing off from a known marker. And, it reads distance to the flag, not just the middle of the green. In addition, it can be used to find a distance to an object, like a pond, trap or tree. Very handy when playing a course for the first time.I am nowhere near a good golfer, but, using this range finder, I feel more confident with my club selection and decisions to lay-up.The unit itself is well-made and seems to be pretty accurate. The battery lasts a long time between charges. Recharging is easy, using the included USB cable.

Great, but that Mode button needs moved
Very nice, pretty easy to use and gives accurate days. I do wish the mode button was not on top. You really have to make an effort not to hit it when using it for distance and almost everyone who picks it up to use it tries to use the mode button to lock in on distance. This eventually leads to changing the settings and gets Abit irritating.

Customer Service Stinks
Have used the rangefinder for 6 months and then it started varying the distance. After 9 months, compared to friends scope and realized I was 10 - 20 yards off on every shot. Contacted the manufacturer to see if they can calibrate the unit. Took two weeks for them to get back to me indicating they would replace the unit. It has now been 5 weeks and three emails to them with no response. Went and purchased another brand (Wblamic). That one works great and confirms how far off the Raythor is. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BRAND!!!

A budget friendly alternative.
Finally a budget GPS golf rangefinder that can compete with the big boys. I have used this for several rounds and was impressed with the accuracy, especially with the slope. Compared it to my friend's non slope Bushnell and the adjustment was accurate. Lightweight, stylish, and very easy to use. Came charged, so far have not had to charge after 3 rounds. I don't have a big hand and this fits perfect. Target is pretty easy to lock in and it provides vibration feedback which is nice. Will update if any change, but so far very impressed.
