A Place to Grow Hardcover – January 20, 2016

I found this at my local thrift store and loved the unique way the words flowed from page to page. Upon getting the book home and reading it, I LOVE the storyline. It's a beautiful story about finding your place in the world, trying new things, never giving up hope, and being okay with starting a new journey. It's basically about all the stages a child goes through as they grow up and out of their home.It's a Beautiful story and my three year old loved it so much, she made me read it four times in one sitting. We read all the time, so for her to ask to have it repeated that many times in one sitting, versus swapping it out for a different book, means it really made a big impression on her- even with the length of the story, which is probably 2 or 3x the length of a typical children's book.Even my almost two year old sat through the story and asked to repeat it. Great story, wonderful illustrations, word design makes the story seem interactive. Definitely makes an impression.I ordered another one to send to my nephew and niece for xmas.

Buy this book! It is a book is for all ages...the message is timeless and universal. It is written in a very simple way but the insights are very complex. The author has a gift for making the invisible...visible. The illustrations are beautiful. This book will be an instant favorite...it was for me and I'm in my seventies.

One of my favorite books!

This is a must have book on all children's bookshelves. Such a great story about how unique each of us is and how there's a place where we all can fit, very uplifting, even for adults!

Sweet and charming, with joyful pictures, I love to read this book aloud to my kids. Has held up to several years of reading aloud, and they still love it (at least my 6 year old did last night).

I purchased this item for our local library...great storyline for early learners!

I gave this special book as a gift for an adoption. The parents loved it (along with everyone else) and were deeply touched by the story, saying they finally had a way to show how their precious "tiny seed" found her special place to grow with their family. There wasn't a dry eye in the room! This is truly an inspirational gem for kids and adults who have ever wondered what their purpose is or where they belong. And the beautiful double page painted illustrations are truly charming. This tiny seed is big on heart!
