Ultralight but ears to read exact temp
Great to clip on a backpack for hiking. It’s accurate to at least within 2*. It’s just hard to let because print is very tiny.

Very nicely made.
Very nicely made. Unusual design. Extremely light. Small print of course, but readable. One of the best made zipper thermometers I've seen.

Not worth anything
Off almost 20 degrees. I took it apart and moved it as far as I could still off a few degrees. Compare it to another thermometer before using. Both thermometers were together a few days before I checked

A little hard for a 47 year old to read, but super light and it has the temperature
I got this for backpacking trips so I would have a rough idea of the real temperature. It is very light weight. On my home scale, it weighs 0.15 oz or about 4 grams. The complaint for this thermometer is that it is so small that it is difficult for me to read without glasses. Even with reading glasses on, I can't get readings that are very precise. I can definitely get ballpark readings. That should be adequate for me to tell if the temp is near freezing so I can tend to the necessary camp and gear considerations when the temperature dips below freezing, but I do wish they dropped the Celsius side and made the Fahrenheit side larger. I guess it does what I need it to do, and for the price and weight, I will stick with it for a while. We'll see how well it performs over time.

Does the job but is finicky
Really like that this can hook onto a zipper. When it's really cold, this thing is great to help you open something with gloves on. It seems very accurate - tech from 1920 usually is proven. Only problem is when it gets frosty and difficult to read, anywhere you touch the thing transmits heat to the thermometer and the accuracy is gone. Can't brush off the snow or even hold the aluminum base to twist it a little right and left to try to read it. That happened for me at about 10 degrees F when i had it hanging outside the tent. wanted to see how cold it was out there but never could get a good reading. Overall a solid thing to have along.

Got what I expected
I got this to hang on a zipper on my pack. it is small and easy to read and fits perfectly where I placed it. The little snowboard it is mounted to is just a cool benefit.

Cute
forever wanted a thermometer for a backpack or jacket. A novelty purchase to be sure, however, I might order a few more depending on how sturdy it is for travel

Very difficult to read, developed a bubble and stopped working
In a brightly lit room it's still difficult to read, but reading it inside your tent with a headlamp is nearly impossible. Mine developed a bubble or something near the top of the fluid and now I can't read it at all.
