Nemesis: The Horus Heresy, Book 13

When the books aren't advancing the plot and talking directly about Space Marines and the Imperium's top brass (Read: Big E and Malcador), they should show us interesting things that happen to lesser people as they experience the Horus Heresy's events. This book is great. Not like those stupid Dark Angels books or Burning of Prospero, where you have to read about random nobodies' lives during pre-heresy.

Book was good, made the mistake of getting the audio book and the guy who read it has a great voice, but he goes and makes the most awful voice changing impressions it actually gave me cancer in my ear. Just stick to the normal voice broski.

Unforgettable characters, relentless action, and Byzantine intrigue - a twisty, eerie dark ride of a novel. Iota, Jennifer, Koyne, and Kell are especially memorable characters .... not to mention Sabrat....

It had good flow and the story was engaging and interesting. It's interesting to get a view from the famous assassins eyes.

Although a fairly good book in itself, Nemesis fails to deliver anything meaningful to the Horus Heresy series.

Ending left something to be desired, but it is picked back up in the Garro Anthology.

Nemesis takes a glimpse into the shadows of the Horus Heresy, into those silent and still places where the assassins dwell. A silent war within a war.

Purchase was great.

I can't get enough, I'm reading them all in order. Great plot, great characters, well researched and ties the series together.

The first half of the book was hard to get through due to its slow pacing. However, it improved near the end and it was fun getting to learn more about Imperial Assassins.

Wie die meisten Bücher aus der Horus-Reihe ist dieses hier gut geschrieben und setzt die Reihe würdig fort. Von mir eine klare Weiterempfehlung!
