Great value. Beautiful, too.
Beautiful and fits like a charm. Slapped it on a 2003 black MIM J Bass and just love it. The floral pattern seems to respond well to light. It radiates different colors when viewed from different angles. The build is as good as pickguards going for three times the price. It came with mounting screws, though I used the existing ones.

Didn’t fit a variety of basses I tried it on
I bought this to replace the guard on my squier jazz bass. It didn’t fit. Tried it on another squier jazz bass. Didn’t fit. Tried it on a tagima, didn’t fit. Eventually tried it on a friend’s jazz bass and it fit there so I gave it to them. That being said, it is a quality pickguard, but it won’t fit a squier unless you do some modifications.

Cool Design, Had to alter to Fit though
The Pick Guard looks great and the material is solid however the opening didn’t quite fit around my Jazz Bass pickup so I had to use a Dremel to widen the opening until it fit. Took a little work to get it just right. Also some of the screw holes also didn’t line up exact so 1 or 2 had to be screwed at an angle to sit right. I’m happy with how it came out though. Just beware of the dimensions being slightly off if you have a Fender Jazz Bass.

Don’t let the bargain price scare you off!
Got this (wood pattern) for my 2001 Mexican J bass. Was a little worried about the fit, being a bargain part, but turned out JUST as snug as the original pick guard, amd REALLY amped up the look! Was prepared to break out the dremel tool just in case, but absolutely no need. Turned out a little brighter/warmer/slightly more orange than the initial image let’s on. But that’s just fine, I LOVE the color amd texture, as it still looks just freaking like natural wood, and is exceptionally sharp against my black J bass. Quality is 100% there, and even came with new hardware and a free pick.

Fits well on my jazz bass
I installed this on a made-in-mexico Jazz bass for my daughter. It fits right and looks great.

Fit my Squier Classic Vibe 70s Jazz Bass perfectly without modification.
I just had to push on it a bit to get it to fit around the knob plate thingy, but the holes matched up and it fit great.
