I have only just started taking the tablets so not completely sure how there doing but I do feel lest tired in the afternoon but it's still early days!

I train daily with weights and cardio exercise. In many scientific and medical journals coenzyme Q10 is reported to reduce oxidative stress and assist the body in muscle development. In older people it also increases the time until exhaustion when exercising. Sounds good to me, as a long time trainee, I am beginning to feel the aches and pains in my muscles and joints. This xSpan Labs Coenzyme Q10 comes in an unusual package that is tall and slim. No sure why this should be, as although it appears to fit easily in your pocket, why would you do that? I suspect this is marketing and its shape gives better 'package visibility on the shelf'There are 60 capsules in the pack that are medium sized smooth cellulose and red coloured. They float in the mouth when taken with liquid are easy to swallow. Direction on the pack state to take one daily with food. Also, there is an allergy advice and a caution to consult your health practitioner before taking nutritional supplements.I try not to front-load my expectations by reading too much about what supplements should do. Sometimes the placebo effect is stronger than the actual product and you can imagine improvements are taking place. However, I have found benefits from COQ10 that are not top of the list. Yes, I have noticed less muscle fatigue while training and also better recovery as the literature suggests. But more importantly, my long term lower back pains have become far less noticeable since being on this supplement. This is excellent news for me, as I've had lower lumbar pain for over 30 years and no amount of therapy or physio has made any improvements. Is this something I can link to COQ10? Maybe... if it reduces oxidative stress and nerve pain, this would indicate a strong correlation for my improvements. This has given me much enthusiasm for this product and indeed this particular xSpan Labs brand.What's inside?You will see from my photos that inside the capsule is a bright yellow powder that weighs in at 492 mg on my calibrated lab scales. This would include all the ingredients. The capsules dissolve easily and the powder is almost tasteless.PROS:In a world of confusing and multiple health supplements, this has got to be one of the best researched and efficacious products. I'm certainly noticing the difference in better stamina and less back pain and with no adverse side effects.CONS:If you are allergic to nuts or other allergens, you should read the directions on the pack as it does state possible cross contamination from a number of known allergens during manufacture and packing. (- 1star) There is also no recycling details for the plastic pack, so I would assume its non-recyclable composite materials. (-1 star)To Buy or not?Study the literature and your requirements, especially the allergy and medical practitioner advice on the pack. IF you want a definite boost in energy and endurance, this is a great buy. You may also find, like me, that there will be some other excellent health benefits. If allergens and environmental issues concern you, maybe look elsewhere.

This is enough for two months at the recommended storage of one capsule daily.The capsules themselves are quite big and bright red ... such a strange choice of colour and I can't imagine why they are produced in that colour.I suffer with tension cluster headaches/migraines and I've tried Co Enzyme Q10 capsules before a few years ago but in 100mg doses. Those had no effect at all (good or bad) on my headaches. Not having tried CoQ10 since I thought it worth trying these 300mg (a much stronger dose).I've been taking these for a little under a month now and even though I'm still getting the headaches the duration of them is shorter and recovery is quicker. I usually feel totally washed out for three days following the headaches but I am now feeling better on the second day after the headache.These capsules are reasonably priced at £14.97 for 60 capsules. Taken at the rate of one daily, this pot will last for about two months.I feel these are worth continuing with for another month or so to see how I go.

As many reviewers have gone over what Co Enzyme Q10 brings, I will not touch on this.As a supplement, I think it works but not as I wonder-drug. If my opinion changes, I will be sure to alter my review.I'm familiar with this style of packaging for supplements, a very cheap and generic option which gives me a slight cause for concern, as it makes me question what else they may have skimped out on with this product.The pills are relatively large for me, I did manage to swallow but it was a little bit of a struggle.As other reviewers noted, I'm concerned for other users about the allergen content. The packaging does not make it nearly clear enough, so I hope that changes in the future. For now, I hope the reviews cover that part for now. If you haven't already I recommend you read the more comprehensive reviews on this.All in all, if you know exactly what you require and what you are looking for this will be the appropriate product for you.
