Things a rocket ship
I swapped this into my haiboxing 2995 buggy with a hobby wrong 80a esc and this thing hauls scary fast, eats up 3s all day pinging it hasn't gotten hot once on me, great motor it's unbelievably fast, so fast Rather than wheelie it does burnouts

Pretty good for the price
The motor is really good because it is really fast and I’m not even giving it the most power I can give it. One downside though is that it gets extremely hot-it got to about 210 F on a 70 F day

Avoid
Coggs like crazy ..programmed with card and was no help ..will not run on rough terrain unless it’s push started

Horrible cogging. 0 off the line power. Don't stop on a hill or in grass. Keep it rolling.
They cog horribly. My replacement cogs but not as bad as the first. Like it need a nudge to go. Once it's moving it rips. But if you slow down or stop on a hill or in grass it's a turd. With a 4wheel drive truck on 2S or 3s it won't move itself out of its own trucks from a dead stop. If you keep it rolling it screams.

Great, powerful, reliable and effective
This motor is really cool. I bought this for the motor in a ground up rc car project. It worked beautifully. It now powers a 1/10 scale beefy buggy akin to an arma typhoon. The wires are clean and the soldered connections are sound. A+++++

Can handle an Arrma Granite
My son's brushed Arrma Granite motor burnt out. So I upgraded to brushless with this motor and a hobbywing ESC and couldn't be happier. It is much faster than the brushed, has great torque and top end speed. Running with a 2s 5000mah at 80c, does get hot but never quits. This is a little high kv motor so gearing does matter, the lower, the better torque and performance.
