Exceeded my expectations!
I've been eyeing this game for a while and finally bought it. We played it tonight for the first time and loved it. This is one game that really is fun, challenging AND educational. I am impressed with the quality of the pieces, and am especially glad that they made a plastic game board instead of cardboard, which would wear out quickly with the pegs. It is well designed and interesting. I am already looking forward to playing it again. As a homeschooling family, I'm especially glad when I find a game like this that has so many learning opportunities built in the play.

Not Impresed
I have been working in the field of Higher Education for 20 years and see STEM prep as the main priority in raising my daughters (9, 7, 4). I thought this game would be perfect for them as they move beyond basic math. I think the game has a lot of potential, but it seems like more of a Beta version instead of the completed product. The biggest difficulty is that the pieces didn't really stay in the holes once you had more than 1 piece sharing a space. We could make it work, but eventually other pieces wound up popping out and we had to keep re-setting the board. So instead of thinking of the strategy, we were focused of thinking about where will this not mess up the board. That's not a good place to be when trying to get my girls excited about math.I think the best solution is redesigning the pieces themselves. As others have stated, they need to be plastic, but the holes should be one point of contact, not 6, and they should stack on top of each other like hands on a clock. You might need to include spacers or something for them to stack evenly, but a better way to share the holes is essential for this game to really shine. So for now, I give it 2 stars. If they fix the pieces though, it could easily become a 5 star game. The tagline of Scrabble for math is genius, but the pieces keep it from being true (for now).

We had a lot of fun just practicing making shapes and naming them
I bought this game to play with my 5 year old son and teach shapes and geometry. As it's meant to be played, the game was too complex for him and he had trouble placing the sticks on the board correctly. Ages 8+ as the game states is a fair recommendation. We had a lot of fun just practicing making shapes and naming them. When he gets older, the cards/rules will keep the game interesting enough to challenge him even after knowing the shapes - and it incorporates angles and more advanced concepts as well. The game is well made and should last with time. I will definitely hang on to this one.

Kinesthetic Geometry Learning
This game takes a bit of time to learn and the game play is a bit on the slow side. Listed for 8+, it is more likely that this would be a successful tool at the middle-school level or higher. It is an excellent game for understanding the concepts of concave angles, and for teaching how angles and polygons work. This is a great way to make geometry a kinesthetic experience, but unless the person playing is either interested in math or is learning math, they may not find much enjoyment in the game. That said, as one player of our test game remarked, "If my middle school math teacher had used this, I would actually have been excited about geometry."

Where is the instruction book?
I bought this game for my nephew and we just opened it up (the sealing around the box was not broken) but there was not an instruction booklet in the box.😏

Great way to think about the composition of shapes
It takes a while to position sticks. Start with the 3, 4, 5 triangle to see how it should look. If it kinda fits, it doesn't fit.My daughter is 7 and our whole family enjoys playing this game!Besides geometry it increases spacial reasoning and mental math since there are so many numbers to add.Since she is studying perimeter and area in school, for bonus points you can add the area as well. The scoring pegs are very tight. They might loosen with time, but my daughter just turns them over instead of inserting them.

Making it fun while learning
I am always looking for games to introduce my children to, so as to get them off electronics. I stumbled on this and my children and I have fun playing with it for hours at a time. There is geometry involved, with learning different shapes, and you can do mental math with your children. Excellent product, can't wait to see what else they can come up with.

Great game, Interesting elements of shapes come out and ...
Great game, Interesting elements of shapes come out and counting the points creatively is the trick. Dont stop with that square you that you made, there are more shapes lurking behind. It takes a while to understand the pegs and holes but dont force anything, the game is well made, so it is most probably you not doing it right. Gives kids a deep & intuitive understanding of shapes, perimeter, addition and pattern recognition. What made it better for us is the opportunity to play it with the makers of the game Pramod & Rohini. A startup which is totally passionate about board games.. Great summer present to kids. Also would advocate you to read the instructions carefully and figure out the holes and pegs. It takes a while to understand all the shapes that you can take points for.The game is very well made and matches all international standards. Waiting for more games from Kitki

A good starter game that can be further refined
It's a game inspired by scrabble in terms of layout, scoring and score board. However young children don't get what angles are, however, it's a good game as an introduction to geometry. Again since the board is not great in terms of fixing stocks properly, the sticks keep falling off. The quality of this could have been ensured for the price paid. The rules are defined but could have been further refined for e.g. When can power cards be renewed ? As and when they are used or after exhausting 5 is not clear. All in all a good game but may not keep the children glued or interested.

Wonderful game that keeps children and adults engrossed alike
A fantastic product. It not only helps use the existing concepts of shapes but also helps kids understand and make new shapes. Got this for my 7 year old daughter on her birthday. And this has quickly become one of her favorite games. The build quality of the components is good however the printing on the playing board and the finishing of the sticks could have some improvement. But still that does not stop me from giving 5 stars to this product.
